How can I eliminate the flood of ads for up-charged services?  Is there an opt-out location?  I pay to use the service not be hounded every time I get off a meeting.

I'm trying to host a 3 hour workshop where people pay for it within Zoom but have the ability for all students to see each other.  I'm just not sure I can do this all within Zoom. So I'm looking to do one of two things: Either charge a fee for my workshop via Zoom Meetings OR have the ability to see everyone in the Zoom Webinars where I can charge a fee. How can I do either of these?

I'm the internal coordinator for a 20 year old non profit in Montreal, Quebec called Sustainable Concordia (Concordia Durable in French). We work on issues of sustainability with students and community members. We are registered under the Quebec government (search for Sustainable Concordia/Concordia Durable) here: https://www.quebec.ca/en/businesses-and-self-employed-workers/find-information-about-enterprise/search-enterprise-register/find-an-enterprise


I want to be clear, since I've heard other nonprofits in the area go through the exact same issues with this verification process, that we are NOT, legally or financially, a part of Concordia University. We are an independent entity recognized  by the provincial government. 


I'm bringing this up here is that there seems to be no way to review this. I cannot reply to the email and the form to request a review (found under the title: How do I request my rejected application to be reviewed?) is giving no results. It just says: 'Uh-Oh. This page knows nothing.' 

I should also say that the email that Goodstacks is trying to verify our organization with has nothing to do with us and we do not know why they are checking with Concordia University. I'm glad to send documents showing our status but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to send it to. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Greetings.

 

I'm new to Zoom, switching from other platforms because so many users are most familiar and comfortable with Zoom.

 

I signed up for a new account, which worked as expected, and then attempted to upgrade to a "Pro" account, which I need to make the service useful to me.  However the payment process hangs when I submit my credit/debit card information, stuck on "Please Wait" forever.

 

I've checked with my bank.  They see the authorization inquiry and confirm that the transaction is authorized, but the Zoom app never completes it.

 

I've used multiple browsers and made sure that no blockers or add-ons that could interfere are active.

 

None of the online help options are meaningfully related, the chatbot is totally useless and Zoom apparently won't provide other help options except to paid accounts.  And I can't have a paid account if Zoom won't take my money.

 

Any guidance or suggestions will be appreciated.
