Hi. I'm an English teacher from Brazil and have just been downgraded to the simple version of Zoom, which will enable me to classes that'll last no more than 40 minutes. However much I think it's fair that Zoom will charge for longer periods, I must say the company has been overlooking important facts. I subscribed to "Zoom One" last year due to the sound discount I received. Even though, the amount I paid already corresponded to roughly 50% of the minimum wage in Brazil. Yes, that's true. What Zoom charges from clients in Brazil (US$ 175.00) is close to the current minimum wage of the country. The question that arises from this is: shouldn't Zoom Communications be aware of this and offer more affordable prices for clients in third world countries? Anyway, I would like to clarify that my classes (not meetings) using Zoom consist of one-to-one events, that will last around an hour, five to ten times a day (weekdays only). I don't talk to 100 people. I don't use fancy resources. Isn't there something Zoom could do for me ?

I will be taking a 2-day training course that an outside company is holding over Zoom (not a course that is offered by Zoom). Each day will consist of a live 7-hour training "meeting". Since the meetings will be more than 40 minutes, do I need to sign up for a paid Zoom plan in order to take the course? I don't want to be kicked off after 40 minutes.

PAID for PRO and account and still showing BASIC

I paid 185$ for the PRO version and til now I still have the BASIC version. I have proof of payment and they even emailed me a PDF to say I bought the PRO version and it will be from Aug 2023 - Aug 2024. I feel cheated that it cost me so much money and ZOOM has not fixed this issue. I tried to email them, and tried other ways to open a ticket with Zoom and til now I  have received ZERO help at all.

Hi Folks,

 

I have a few a few different Zoom accounts. I have slowly been merging them into my main Business account.

 

I have one account that is being a problem.

 

It is a standalone login that was originally a Zoom Rooms account, for which the license itself has expired – but which I want to retain the login for.

 

The email domain for that account is a domain now integrated into by Business account, but the problematic login still remains as a standalone account.

 

When I login to the standalone I, as expected, get the Consolidate into Account prompt.

 

When I select Consolidate, I get this message:

 

"Accounts with Zoom Rooms licenses cannot be merged because you will lose your Zoom Rooms data. If you wish to proceed and merge the accounts, please remove your Zoom Rooms licenses. After the Zoom Rooms licenses have been removed you may proceed to merge the accounts by clicking the link in your invitation email."

 

However – I cannot get passed this message and login in order to remove the Rooms license.

 

Any ideas?
