The smallest Zoom version without time limitation is the Pro version.

In my opinion it would make sense to provide a Small-Business or a Basic-Advanced version.

There you could e.g. unlock the following.
Meetings 8 hours per meeting
50 participants per meeting
Whiteboard Basic
Team chat
Mail and calendar

The whole for 40$ /year

As an individual, I often need Zoom for longer than the free 40 minutes. So it would be great to have a low cost option for small customers.

Would this be a good idea?

I have a paid Zoom One Pro account. I had not realised that it came with no effective support.

I have just tried to change my sign-in Email. Zoom has acknowledged this, asked me to confirm which I have done and says it has sent an email to the new sign in to confirm. Despite pressing the Resend Confirmation button more than a dozen times in the last 30  minutes I have received no email at my new sign in account from Zoom . 

 

The ChatBot is useless. It asked If I want to cancel my account and if I cannot receive a reply from Zoom that that is what I will do. Appaling service for a paid account.

Rejected 10DLC as a business

I'm working with a client that is trying to use SMS via zoom. They have an EIN and when we submitted a 10DLC brand and waited the 2-3 weeks, I found out we were rejected. We're on the Pro plan, and I'd like to know why we were rejected.

During covid I set up a zoom account to be used for my church to meeting online, I used my email and information to set up the account.  Since then, the church organization has maintained and used the account.  I now need to set up a separate personal account for myself and Zoom is recognizing my email from the organizations account.  I've tried removing me from their account and it won't let me.  How do I remove myself from their account in order to set up my own personal zoom account?  There is another person listed as an administrator on their account that can take over their account. PLEASE HELP !!!  It's been very flustering trying to figure this out and technical support says the type of account they have does not come with zoom technical support

Although I paid the $150 for the membership, Zoom doesn't think I paid, and cuts me off after 40 minutes.  My attempt to use Customer Service have been thwarted because, apparently,  you can't get customer service unless you have full membership.  A true Catch-22,-- for those of you old enough to know Joseph Heller.  I think I know what the problem is but have no one at Zoom to tell it to.   Can anyone assist?  Many thanks.     drdouglas

Resolved! Costs Involved for toll-free lines

What we are looking to do is create a new Auto Receptionist (Just to avoid interfering with the current ones) with cycling 1-800 numbers for certain / different AD campaigns, publish the number for the specific campaign then remove the number after 2-3 months or so once it is over. Then repeat the same thing for the next campaign. We can set up the AR / Queue call flow etc but are wondering about the potential costs involved.

 

On our bill a Toll-Free number seems to cost $6.65 CAD plus taxes per month so $15.30 for 2 toll free lines and we pay CAD0.0501 per minute for calls into the toll-free numbers.

 

We have a few questions:

  • Is there a certain time frame we have to keep any created toll-free numbers ie you must keep it for 3 months / 12 months etc.
  • Are there any additional charges / costs associated on our bill with us creating these short-term toll-free numbers besides the aforementioned CAD$6.65 monthly and CAD0.0501 per minute?
