I bought a MAC book second hand and was so excited to use it, partially because I am a reiki master and offer virtual healing. I had used zoom several years before in my old sales job and much preferred it to Teams.

 

To my horror, zoom wouldn't work. I couldn't understand it. I have discovered that the MAC book is banned as the previous owner obviously did something to break the rules. I have emailed and emailed and explained and explained and they still won't lift the ban.

 

I can use it on my phone but that just won't work for healing logistically. It also proves I've done nothing wrong as surely my email would be banned as well and it isn't.

 

It may be second hand but I spent a fair amount of money and it's not like I can take it back (the guy is in the states now I'm told).

 

I think it's more frustrating than anything, I just want to use the platform as it would be the best one for virtual healing, I haven't done anything wrong but worst of all, I am just going round in circles on email and nothing is being done.

 

one guy told me to redownload the app and log in and it still came up.

 

It's very unfair. Who deals well with injustice?

 

This really is a last ditch attempt as now I am being ignored.

I'm an independent tutor that recently established my business website. Unfortunately, it was linked to my personal Zoom email account. I have since changed the linked Zoom account to my work email for upcoming meetings, but now I have meetings from my website under both my personal Zoom and business Zoom. 
Can someone give me a step by step of moving my previously booked meetings from my personal Zoom to my work Zoom?  Both are free accounts. Thanks.

I keep getting emails at work that appear to be from Zoom Media

Subject Line: Action Required User Disable

with the message reading "We've temporarily deactivated your Zoom account.
At this time, you will not be able to invite or join any call/meeting.  Your account will be billable until you verify your email address  office@****.com

 

When I hover over the link it directs to a very long address that starts with http://journalscene.secondstreetapp.com/api/organization_user_email_verifications...

I am 99.9% sure this is spam but I tried to google it nothing comes up.  If it is spam, I would also like to warn others to look out for it.  Does anyone else have any insight into this or seen it before?

I recently changed my phone and successfully set up the Microsoft Authenticator app on the new device. While I am able to log in to my Zoom account using my email and password without any issues, the problem arises when I reach the 2-step verification stage. As part of my account security, I had set up 2-step verification using the Microsoft Authenticator app on my previous phone. Now, after signing in, Zoom prompts me to enter the verification code generated by the app.

Problem Details:

Even though I am receiving the codes from the Microsoft Authenticator app on my new phone and entering them correctly, the verification process fails every time. This issue only began after I switched devices, leading me to believe it may be related to the transition between phones. I am concerned that something may not have transferred correctly during the setup process.

Steps Taken So Far:

  1. I have ensured that both the Zoom app and Microsoft Authenticator app are updated to their latest versions.
  2. I have double-checked that the time and date settings on my phone are accurate, as I know this can sometimes affect code generation.
  3. I have attempted to generate and enter multiple codes, but all attempts have resulted in a failed verification message.

Request for Assistance:

Given the urgency of this issue, as I need to share important downloads with my students via Zoom, I would greatly appreciate your guidance on resolving this matter. If there is a way to re-sync the authenticator app with my Zoom account or reset the 2-step verification process, please let me know the steps involved. Alternatively, if there is another method to bypass this issue temporarily, that would also be helpful.

otp blocking access to original account

otp was forced onto my free account (opened 2020/04/04).

i did not set up, and cannot now set up, an authenticator app.

i would like to retain my original zoom account.

can a zoom rep please assist in recovering my original account?
