Hi all,

We're currently on the Zoom Business plan with 12 Workplace licenses, primarily to access the Language Interpretation feature, which is essential for our international meetings.

As our active user demand has decreased, we're exploring whether it's possible to reduce the number of paid Business licenses to, for example, 8—without losing access to the Language Interpretation feature.

Could anyone advise whether this is technically and contractually feasible? Alternatively, are there any lower-cost options—such as add-ons with the Pro plan—that still provide access to Language Interpretation?

We’d really appreciate any guidance on how to adjust our plan while keeping this key functionality.

Hello..

I had subscribed to Zoom basic plan using my personal email address while back.  Recently I upgraded to Zoom Pro for my own business.  However, when scheduling meetings, the invite goes from my personal email and not my business email.  Since I use Zoom mainly for business purposes, I would like to transfer the subscription to my business account which means the Pro plan will apply to my business account and the basic plan can continue to be on my personal email.  I do not mind deactivating the basic plan altogether.  I do not wish to pay double.  Can someone please help?

In article 1.2 of the Terms of Service it says: 

"1.2 Prohibition on Sharing. You may not share an account, Host rights, or any other user rights with any other individual, unless otherwise expressly pre-approved by Zoom in writing. You may not share any login credentials or passwords regarding the foregoing with any other individual. You acknowledge that sharing of any such rights is strictly prohibited."

 

Does this also apply when someone is bad with technology? A teacher of mine has asked me to create a zoom account for her lessons because she finds it difficult. I want to create her account today, so I would know her login info and would probably plan her meetings, so she only has to click on a link to join them.

I subscribed to the Zoom Phone service today ($10/mo). I didn't realize that the account was attached to an old workplace and all my emails went to my former boss and I couldn't figure out how to use the phone service. I ended up having to cancel my subscription, but it doesn't look like I get a refund for it. Since I already paid the money for it, can I get it transferred to another account?

 

Edit: I called billing to get a refund.

I have been in communication with Trust and Safety and have submitted an appeal via ticket T&S0686391.  The appeal people got back to me and told me the following:

 

"Based on the information provided, we have verified that your Zoom account is currently active and there are no restrictions or issues associated with it at this time."  And they gave me the information about uninstalling and updating my client.  I am running version 6.45 on the computer that is having the issue.  I did this and am still receiving the 1132 error.

 

I have created a new ticket T&S0688412 5 days ago referring to the previous ticket noted above stating that I did EVERYTHING that they mentioned in the ticket above and am still having the same issue.

 

Can someone please help me to find out what is really going on with my computer that is having this issue.

 

I have created at least 10 other accounts, for testing, which are ALL having the same issue.

 

I really need to have access to zoom meetings on my Main Computer and am looking for guidance.

 

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
