Replicating instances of zoom.pkg

I was using the free version of Zoom but circumstances changed and I did not need it, so I deleted it from my M2 Mac mini with the latest macOS. My problem is this: the file zoom.pkg is replicating on my system; over 100,000 instances at last count. How do I remove those and stop future replication from happening on my system?
