Am I the only one disappointed by Zoom's changes RE: the small business target market?

 

I have been a Pro-Account subscriber for many years and just received my renewal notice.  On the surface it looks like the price is the same.  However, Pro Account plans ($149.90/yr)  NO LONGER have Live Chat support — that is now only provided for accounts spending a minimum of $600/yr.  Email support is insufficient when a technical issue is disrupting a current/pending session.  This essentially leaves small businesses unsupported technically.

The astronomical jump from $149.90 to $600 - to have live chat support - is game changer (unless we agree to pay an extra $72/yr (ah-hem 50% increase) for assurance of tech support.

 

As an independent consultant, I am questioning my renewal.  My spiritual center is also re-considering its account type.  When company's start decreasing their customer support; members start making other decisions.  Perhaps Zoom has calculated that it can lose its Pro-Account customer base.

Hi, 

I'm having trouble finding out the answer to this. 

 

I have a zoom one pro account with one admin and one Licensed user. My organization no longer needs the second user account so I went ahead and deactivated it. we are currently on a yearly billing cycle with 2 users set to renew in February 2024. 

When I go to the billing management tab and change the number of users on our account from 2 to 1 the only option is to "Place order" and checkout with one user selected. This would then charge use for an account with only one user immediately but we would be double paying as we still have access to our 2 user account until February.  

 

It's not very clear but because I deactivated the user will our billing update to reflect this change in February. Or will I have to go in, in February and sign a new contact for only 1 user?

Hi. I recently canceled my Pro Zoom account as I wanted to reactivate it with a company discount code. The last day of my previous Pro policy was yesterday. Today, I wanted to reactivate my Pro Policy plan, but am unable to as the status of my current plan says, 'Pending Cancelation'. Contact Sales. Hi, I moved to Kazakhstan and forgot to change my billing address. I paid with my Kazakhstan card but still was charged with taxes. Also I have a coupon of 30% discount in my account, and I thought it would be automatically applied to my subscription. However, today I was charged with 180$ instead of a 100$ (minus taxes and a discount). I didn't expect it, is it possible to change it?

As an Admin, is there a way to prevent users from signing into the Zoom desktop app across multiple computers? Our Zoom used to have it to where if I'm signing into my Zoom account on a conference computer then sign in with my main computer it would automatically sign my profile out of the conference. This is ideal as we like to keep office administrator chats private and this is a big help in that. Ever since we signed our profiles onto Zoom One for Business we can now sign into multiple devices simultaneously. Can that be turned off?
