Hey guys.

 

I have been reaching out to the Zoom sales & support team more than 5 times - note once has anyone from Zoom responded. I am desperate. 

 

As a consultant working with some Global brands specifically operating in South Africa, I recommend Zoom for internal & external communication, training and facilitation purposes. In fact, if they want to work with us, they sign a contract that Zoom is the platform we will use. I have brought Zoom to many large businesses, yet often find myself stuck with a specific question. I try YouTube, your "support" docs etc, but am in desperate need of sitting with a Zoom specialist. The whole of South Africa is moving to MS Teams ( I hate Teams). Our biggest clients in SA (+50 000 employees) moved over to Team and just two weeks ago our biggest Global client (200k employees) that I had on Zoom, decided to move to Teams. I brought Zoom to the largest University in South Africa, that just told me that they are also now leaving Zoom.

 

Why is it so difficult to get any support from the Zoom sales team when I am trying to make them sales... I don't even ask for commission! So this is my last attempt...to get some sort of demo, expert, or person who would be willing to book some time with me and answer my questions so that I can convince the few clients we have that still use Zoom, to continue to use it.

Hey everyone - in the same boat as others. Accidentally selected Educator account when trying to create an account using the Google integration. It's now asking for information about my organization, who can sign for student data, etc.

 

Starting over, clearing cache/cookies, trying in a private browser all takes me back to the same page to enter education information. So I'm stuck.

 

Seems like previous threads that have received a response include a link to create a ticket. However, those links make you log in. Hence, right back to the same spot because the whole point is I can't create the account.

 

It's an account for work so I can't just use a different email address.

 

Anyone had any success with restarting the account creation process after accidentally selecting the educator account?

Account not upgraded after paying for subscription

I subscribed to Zoom Pro on Tuesday morning, however, my account hasn't been upgraded there is still a 40mins time limit on all my meetings. I was supposed to receive an email about the upgrade within a 24-hour period but that hasn't happened either.... Show more

Pausing membership

Payment issue in India

Trying to pay using debit and credit cards but it keeps on saying recurring payment is not set on all the cards. even if I click on the pay now link it still tells me to accept E-Mandate. why is zoom so worst at payments.

Expired Credit Card

I have been charged on my expired credit card. I have not given the security code on my new card even though the card number is the same. Isn't it a fraud to charge me without my consent?

Changing from one plan to another, loses phone account and number

I should begin by saying this is my business line. I wished to change from one plan to the Pro Plus plan, giving me phone and meetings. I did chat and a phone call, finally finding someone I thought could help on chat. (see attachment 1st zoom respon... Show more

I should begin by saying this is my business line.  I wished to change from one plan to the Pro Plus plan, giving me phone and meetings.  I did chat and a phone call, finally finding someone I thought could help on chat. (see attachment 1st zoom response.)  After seeing this email, I checked my account and found that I no longer had phone in my account.  Emailed back, no response.  Got on chat again, and was told it may take 1 - 3 days to fix.  They finally agreed to escalate it.  I then received attachment 2.

Since my number has been deleted, I am told I will have to purchase a phone plan in order to most likely get my number back.  As policy, zoom will not give me my money back on a cancelled plan, so there is that.

They even state in the email that the change was screwed up, "Purchase the base Zoom Phone Plan to regain access to the Phone System, it was not provisioned during the Plan Upgrade. 2. Re-obtain the Phone number afterwards as the Zoom Phone plan was removed"  But instead of fixing the mistake, they wish me to jump thru all these hoops.  I can not wait to post all this on PissedConsumer.com.

Of course, I can not call and talk with anyone, and the chat has been worthless.

Anyone have an idea for me?
