My problem: There are several settings I can't change, e. g. enable local recordings or saving the meeting chat, because it has been blocked by the admin.
How can I solve that problem?

I cannot sign in using all the three ways my Zoom offers.
a. Send a code to another device ---- never got the code to any of my other devices
b. Send a code to me gmail ---- got the email but every time I entered this code, Zoom tells me the code has expired even though it was within 10 min
c. SMS verification ---- Zoom shows verification code sending failed, and I never got the message

 

I created an open ticked but immediately got the email saying "Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to your open ticket at this time."

 

I have to hold a meeting 24 hours later and I am very worried.

Merging 2 accounts

I have 2 e-mail addresses within my company, one with my maiden name, and an alias with my ex's last name. When we got invitations to create our pro zoom accounts a few years ago, I used my e-mail with my ex's last name. Last week, our company switched to Zoom phones, and when they added it to "my account" they sent it to the e-mail with my maiden name, so now I have 2 accounts. I would just abandon the old account (the one with the married name) but all of our faculty (about 40 people) have added that old account as a proxy for them so that I can schedule meetings for them. It was a long process to get them to do that in the first place, let alone do it again. So I was wondering if there was any way that I can merge the two accounts which are both licensed under the same company.

As Zoom administrator, I would like to add following feature request.

 

Better options for managing users would be beneficial.

 

In Users list, it would be beneficial to have more options for Advanced search to filter users:

  • Creation date (after/before/range dd/mm/yyyy)
  • Email/Name ID contains/do not contain/is etc.
  • Department contains/do not contain/is etc

After filtering users, select all/some of filtered users for a bulk user management operation.

 

Bulk operations

  • assign role
  • delete
  • deactivate etc.

Use case behind this:

  • When someone has left the company (university in our case), her/his user account still seems to stay on Zoom. (We are using SSO - users are created automatically but not deleted)
  • It is possible to deactivate and delete this user manually.
  • However, in large organisation such a manual work is time-consuming for admins.
  • Also, finding (filtering) these users is difficult.
  • We would like to see options to automatise this "cleanup" task.

I already found this thread - using REST API could be an option for bulk operations, but an admin interface tool would be still a beneficial option.

I clicked the educator account when I was signing up for a new account with my work email thinking it might be helpful but I'm now unable to login to my new account. I'm using my personal account to write this because I can't login with my work zoom account as I can't approve or get past education activation. I'm not able to change my work email as support suggested. I'm having a difficult time connecting with anyone because it is unique situation.

Incredibly disappointed -- no response from Zoom about Educational Account error

I am a psychologist and because I meet with clients under 18, thought I was supposed to say "yes" about an Educational Account. However, it would be a HIPAA violation to complete their request and and consent to this. Zoom is threatening to close my ... Show more

I am a psychologist and because I meet with clients under 18, thought I was supposed to say "yes" about an Educational Account. However, it would be a HIPAA violation to complete their request and and consent to this.

 

Zoom is threatening to close my paid account by February 1st if I do not complete the sign-up, yet have not responded in two weeks to my help ticket (which I also followed up on) to correct this error.

 

I am not eligible for phone support and the chat bot doesn't understand what I am talking about. Has anyone ever had success with help tickets? I am at a loss and have never had an organization simply not respond to my urgent request.

I reactivated my 'pro' account after subscription ran out and I was downgraded to the free account. However, I still have the free account features, meaning I get knocked off zoom after 40 minutes. When I try to call zoom technical support, I get the message that I can't speak to a real person because I have a free account. The automated chat is useless since it is defaulted to a menu that has not options for my problem. Any suggestions?

To ease the process of activating accounts, I am suggesting  that Zoom should create a portal where customers can input their invoice and account number to activate their down graded accounts into paid status. I believe this will be more efficient in solving problems relating to new payments and down graded accounts.
