I am on a Zoom free account.  I do not participate in enough Zoom meetings to justify $15/month.

 

I did as advised earlier, and re-loaded Zoom's software, and unplugged the speakers and re-plugged the speakers back in.  Then I went on a Zoom meeting and my speakers didn't work.  Very embarrassing.  The meeting host did not provide a call in number.  I was one of 5 participants.

 

I have time today to try to fix this.  I tried to get help by calling 1.888.799.9666, but unfortunately, my account codes (Meeting ID and Host Key) are unrecognizable to Zoom's phone system.   

 

If a free account cannot receive phone support - how can a community forum resolve issues on an account that is not recognized by Zoom's systems?

 

The voicemail prompts only say that Zoom's system cannot find my Meeting ID and Host Keys when I am staring right at them on the screen.  So I can't figure out how to get to a screen to test my speaker's performance - BEFORE I am in the next Zoom meeting.

 

* * And then when I tried to attach my screenshots, they were rejected because I refuse to move off of .doc formats that everyone can open.  Wow. * *

I upgraded from basic to allow for meeting to exceed 40 mins, but my account still says basic.

 

under current plans it says:

You have a pending subscription request and Zoom is collecting Payment. Once received, you will be notified by email at ***********.

 

I need to schedule a meeting that needs to last longer than 40 mins very soon. When will my account not be basic?

cancelling monthly

I need Zoom Pro for a one-off course I am running and therefore, will only need Zoom for a month or two. If I choose to pay monthly can I cancel Zoom Pro once I no longer need it or am I tied into a year contract paying monthly?

Подскажите пожалуйста, есть ли смысл ждать ответ от поддержки и могут мне еще раз дать промокод со скидкой? вот текст моего обращения:

Добрый день, мы год пользовались подпиской Zoom. Сегодня должна была произойти оплата и сумма скидки составляла 40 процентов(55.96 EURO). Карту которую мы привязали для оплаты ZOOM была пополнена на 130EURO. Сумма списания должна была составить 83.94+taxes. Промокод был задействован, но оплата не прошла. Могли бы вы пожалуйста вернуть промокод, мы готовы пополнить карту если необходимо больше, но мы хотим нашу полеженную скидку, тк. мы год пользуемся вашей платформой. Спасибо!

Fraudulent billing practices

I cancel my subscription over a week ago and here it is Saturday morning when billing support is closed I received a message stating that they have successfully charged $311 to my account… That’s twice as much as should have been charged if I had not canceled my subscription because last year I also cut it down to a single subscription not a double pro plan… This is unscrupulous dishonest business practices on the part of zoom and I am seeking restitution Justice and my  money back immediately!
