We have a limit of 100 for our capacity. I may have 1 meeting with 125 guests. I'm fairly confident that less than 100 will log in but I have 2 questions. Can I purchase a 1 time allowance of more than 100 guests rather than upgrade at the rate of $50.00 a month and what happens to the 101st person that tries to join. Will they get an error message? Thank you everyone!

I have a similar question (we may have just a few more than 100 attend this ONE annual Zoom meeting). I also have another problem with some of the folks trying to register for this event. Many (about 1 out of every 3) people with unique emails are receiving an error message when they try to register. It says, "Only registered attendees can attend," but the person is not already registered, and their email is a legitimate email. My settings are correct - with "Only authenticated meeting participants and webinar attendees can join meetings and webinars" turned off. Plus, I've checked the option to add the "allow authorization exception" but people are still struggling to register. Hope you don't mind me riding on your coattails for an answer. I am hoping they'll answer us both on both questions.

Hoping we both get an answer as well. I've tried putting a ticket in but I'm not getting a response

Hello,
You can buy a monthly "Large Meeting Add on". This will increase your licensed meetings capacity.
You can increase participants by hosting a large meeting or hosting a webinar instead of a meeting.
Large Meeting is an optional add-on for Meetings plans that allows you to host up to 500 or 1000 participants depending on the license purchased. In large meetings, everyone can participate with audio, video, and screen sharing at their and the host's discretion. Learn more about purchasing and assigning large meeting licenses.

To answer your other question, once a meeting reaches capacity, joining participants will get a dialog box stating the meeting has reached the maximum number of allowed participants and joining is only possible if some participants leave.

Hello,
If you require authentication to join your meeting, your registrants will need to register with an email that is associated with an active Zoom account. This must be done before registration can be completed. Authentication profiles can also require the registrant to join with an account that matches the email they registered with.
