I can't launch meetings. I keep getting a message that I need to update. So I've been having to enter meetings on my browser instead which doesn't give me all my Zoom options like having a virtual hand, digital timer, etc. It is very limiting and very frustrating. How do I update?

I am having an issue on MacOS, where long recorded session videos are constantly freezing during regular or fullscreen playback. This occurs every 2 to 5 minutes on a very new computer, with the latest software, and plenty of bandwidth. This never occurs during live meetings. Is there anything I can do to improve the experience? I am *not* the admin for these recordings. This videos are being viewed through the organization branded Web link on a Chrome Web browser.

My Zoom app recently updated to Zoom Workplace and now includes the "create clips" facility. There is a keyboard shortcut built in (Ctrl+Alt+C) that opens that window even when Zoom is closed. Unfortunately it is a keyboard shortcut that I had set up for use in Word and it's one that I use *all the time* 😞 I have disabled the clips feature in Zoom, but that keyboard shortcut now seems to have been irrevocably allocated to that function, so when I type it in Word, nothing happens, and I can't allocate it to the function I had allocated it to any more. I've set up a new shortcut in Word, but even so this is driving me nuts because my use of that shortcut is so automatic that I'm forever using it and getting confused about why nothing has happened. Does anyone know how to wrest control of my shortcut back from Zoom? UPDATE: The problem resolved itself at some point during the day yesterday (no restart or anything, not related to anything I did). Most mysterious -- but thank you, Zoom, if it was because of some update you made!

When I clicked the meeting link, it would always launch the zoom app and take me to the meeting. Was very stable and working for many years. Suddenly, Zoom app won't launch. Even when I click the "Launch Meeting" button, nothing happens. I'm on Windows 10 and Chrome (latest updates for both). I've tried everything: Restarted PC, Cleared cookies, cleared cache, uninstalled and re-installed the Zoom app, including "Cleanzoom", verified camera and mic permissions, verified updated drivers on camera, even tried editing the "Preferences" file in the default directory as someone has suggested. Nothing has worked and I keep having the same issue. I have another (slightly older) laptop running same Windows/Chrome and everything works perfectly there. Can someone please suggest a solution? So today when I started my Windows 10 zoom meeting client cannot run.
Tried everything from uninstalling zoom, reinstalling zoom version 5.16.2, even using the zoom cleaner, reinstall it again.
And now I'm stuck with zoom meeting client cannot run, and cannot uninstall because of error 10017.
Help please.
