Hello dear community.I’m currently planning on making a movie completely over Zoom. Therefore I’ve got a question.When filming, how can I disable my video and call window so only the actors are in the call while shooting but I can record and see them act. I’ve read that Rob Savage for Host contacted the Zoom support for this and got administration rights. But my question is, can’t it be done without all that? I hope so. I hope my question was understandable.

Hello, I deleted a zoom meeting recently but can still access it? Its not a recurring meeting, or a personal ID meeting, and ive deleted it also from recently deleted folder. However im working with an API that is still saying the zoom meeting is active - indeed if I put the details in I can actually join the meeting, even though i’ve deleted it! Any ideas? many thanksChris 

[Summary] I am experiencing a persistent issue where clicking a Zoom meeting link automatically opens the web browser version instead of launching the desktop application. This occurs even when I have disabled the "Join from your browser" link in my web portal settings.[Environment] OS: macOS (Occurs on two separate MacBooks) Browser: Chrome, Safari Account: Personal account (Free/Basic tier) [Steps already taken] Web Portal Settings: Disabled "Show 'Join from your browser' link" in the "In Meeting (Advanced)" section. Reinstallation: Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the Zoom desktop client. Browser Cleanup: Cleared browser cache, cookies, and reset protocol handler permissions for app.z

I am using Zoom Workplace app on my ipad mini A17pro.My account is confirmed to be a paid account, but when I start a new meeting, I don't see the recording button.I can only record using Zoom Clips.

I’ve had automatic recordings set for my meetings for a number of years with no problem. The recordings started as soon as the meeting did, informed the participants that it was being recorded, and the recording automatically saved to my computer. Easy. Suddenly, a few weeks ago, despite still having record option chosen in my settings (I didn’t touch the settings), the meetings are no longer being recorded - AND there is no option while the meeting is going to manually press record. Nothing. Nada. No button to press, no options in settings. I have ‘scheduling permission’ to schedule meetings for another Zoom account. In web browser view as well as Zoom workplace app on my desktop/laptop (Mac and Windows), I am able to see all my upcoming meetings - my own as well as those that I have scheduled for the other account (In Zoom workplace app on my desktop there’s a button to toggle between the two and I can see and access that).But in my iPhone mobile app, it is weird. When I uninstall the Zoom app on iPhone and reinstall it, I am first able to see all my upcoming meetings (my own and those scheduled for the other acct) under ‘Meetings’.HOWEVER, if I then close the iPhone app and reopen it, now I am able to see only my own upcoming meetings and not those I scheduled for the other acct (the ‘all meetings’ view I had earlier under Meetings disappears). Nor am I able to find any toggle button or pull down anywhere, where I can choose which account’s meetings it needs to display.I want to be able to see th

Is there ANY way WITHOUT ending the ongoing meeting to allow a removed participant to rejoin?

With many years of using Zoom, I have literally have (HAD) hundreds of files in the Zoom directory.  Today the directory and all files are gone. I discovered my charge card was declined for a March 31st payment and my Zoom service was discontinued today. I had done a Zoom call with recording a couple of hours ago, and had no knowledge of an issue.  In checking into my account, I discovered the payment issues and issued a new card. which was approved and the account was reinstated. BUT all my files are gone!  I checked the recycle bin and nothing. I’m wondering did Zoom erase all my years of files, they were there earlier today. 

My recurring meetings have disappeared from App home page. they were there this morning and now gone. I can still see them on the desktop app and the links still work when clicke don to join but when I click open IOS zoom app they do not show on the home page - they have disappeared.I have about 10 recurring meeting all set to ‘no fixed time’. Can anyone tell me how to get them back showing in the app please? Thanks

I have the newest zoom update (5.11.0), and I really need to switch to dark mode because light mode is very straining to the eyes, especially with a huge iMac screen close to my face. however, the "dark" option is not available. in fact, the "theme" category is nowhere to be found in my settings on general in zoom.  where can I enable dark mode here in this?I use macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. pls, I need a quick answer to this, or i'll probably go blind after some time. 

It is about a zoom setting that I try and test now for several weeks and it does not work. What is needed is that the one participant shares screen without sound and another participant shares only sound simultaneously.Host settings are done: "Multiple participants can share simultaneously". All tests result in the message "you can not share audio whilst another screen is already shared.Anyone has an idea? Would be very helpful.Frank

I have a Zoom App in development currently showing as in draft and shareable internally within my organisation. Until a few days ago, I was able to complete the oauth flow for both the production and development client id and my app would show in the Zoom marketplace “Added Apps” as installed in both cases in the relevant tab “Apps in Production” and “Apps in Development” and it would show in the “Apps” section of the Zoom client. Since yesterday, with the app uninstalled, when I try to install the development app again I do not see the consent screen, the oauth flow succeeeds (I get a code back and exchange successfully for a token) but the app neiter appears on the marketplace under “Added Apps → “Apps in Development” nor in the Zoom Client under “Apps”. I have been looking this up and so far nothing conclusive. I did ask my Admin whether a setting has been changed on their side (not sure if their is a setting that would influence this?). I was wondering

Since last 10 days my meeting participants are not able to see the annotation toolbar on the shared whiteboard for a meeting on my desktop. I have updated my Zoom Workplace to the latest version but this does not help. I have checked the meeting settings also wherein I have not checked “ Only host can annotate”. I tried to start a meeting from my phone and joined the meeting from my desktop ( without signing in) from the web by entering the meeting details and I could see the annotation tool bar on the whiteboard shared on the phone. 

Hi, I have trouble in showing dual monitor window. After some updates, zoom dual monitor has title bar. Because of that title bar, the screen does not show in full mode. It always show "zoom workplace"  letters in title bar. Can I hide title bar in dual monitor mode?

I’m new to using Zoom and still trying to understand its basic features. I’ve recently started attending online meetings and noticed that some people record sessions for later use. However, I’m not sure how this recording process works, who is allowed to record, and where the recordings are saved. Can someone explain in a simple way how to record meetings on Zoom and what steps I need to follow as a beginner?

Hello, I'm trying to record a class, I would like my students to see me talking, but I do not want the recording to include the faces of talking students. Ideally I'd share the screen as well as the host video camera, but when others speak it would still show only me, or alternatively a black box where they are. Is this an option, and if so how do I use it.

why are some recording files 3 to 5 times larger than others?we have several user accounts that record one-hour videos.one account generates one-hour video files that are 150MB.Another account's one-hour video would be 700MB. Why?

Hello, I am writing to request full native Wayland support and optimization for the Zoom Linux client. Currently, many users (including myself) experience issues with screen sharing, window management, and overall performance when using Wayland compositors (GNOME/Mutter, KDE/Kwin).Relying on XWayland is no longer a viable long-term solution as the Linux ecosystem is rapidly moving to Wayland by default. We need: Native PipeWire/Portal integration for screen sharing. Better resource management (CPU/RAM optimization) under Wayland. Fixes for screen flickering and window focus issues. This is critical for users on modern distributions like Ubuntu 24.04/26.04 and Fedora.

It seems Zoom has a new “feature” that when I click on a Zoom link to join someone else’s Zoom meeting, it takes me to a browser page (see screen shot below).Where I then have to chose between joining the meeting from the app or a browser.This is a time waster, because I want to use the app 100% of the time.Plus, because I have typically have quite a few browser tabs open, sometimes it can be time consuming to find this page.So it adds extra delay for me to join Zoom meeting.My question - how can I bypass having to go to this unnecessary browser page?So I can go back to having “1 click” to join a Zoom meetingAnd not waste time.
