Once I'm connected to the phone number and clicked the complete meeting invite, it always says it failed to invite (phone number) to the meeting. Any help here? My co-worker account does not have the same issue and we've made sure that our settings are the same here. I am a paid pro account and paid zoom phone.

Hello all,

I am wondering if there is a way to change/edit the Invite Greeting Message participants hear when they are called into a program. It currently says "Welcome to Zoom.  You have been added to the waiting room...."  I would like to add a sentence in that gives a heads up of who (Organization Name) is hosting the Zoom meeting.

I know I can change the Voicemail greeting but we do NOT use the Voicemail feature.  It's the INVITE GREETING (via call in) that I want to change.

Thank you all

Hello Community, thank you for any support available.

I am looking to create a deskphone template for Poly Edge series phones. Simply looking to enable paging defaults for all phones on the account.

Does this appear to include everything needed to enable this setting properly?

ptt.pageMode.enable="1"

ptt.pageMode.group.1.label="Page All"
ptt.pageMode.group.24.label="Page All - Priority"
ptt.pageMode.group.25.label="Page All Emergency"

I hope I can explain this properly.  I would like to give one of my employees access to be able to make calls and receive calls via my business phone line.  I'm sure I need to purchase another license, which makes sense but I'm trying to figure out the best way to it and to get them set up.

  1. I would like them to have their own login to the business line, which I'm guessing the license assigned to them will do.  Am I correct in this assumption?  and do I need to do anything other than assign them a license and login information?
  2. I'm not trying to give them their own phone number, I would like to just have them be an extension of the current business number so when they call out it shows as our business line and when they call in they will just enter their extension or wait and hear the option for their extension.  Is this correct in my thinking or is this not even a possibility?

We have been looking at the Zoom Phone system QOS to determine why some clients are reporting poor sound quality occurring 1-2 times per week. To be more specific, callers are reporting that our user sounded distorted or echo-ey while we heard clearly from them. We ran a certification on the wired network ports, patch cables, and phone cables. We were able to look at specific events, and the QOS showed that they were 4.1-4.5 good quality calls. The only commonality I could see between them was that they all showed a 12kbps sending bitrate when known good calls showed a 50-75kbps sending bitrate.

Zooms website says that bandwidth needs are 60-100kbps for calls.

Could this actually be the cause of the poor sound quality? If the recommended bandwidth is 60-100 kbps, why is it rating a 12kbps call is good quality?

We are piloting Zoom Phone for our business. One small issue is how the iPhone handles incoming calls with third party apps. Ideally, I'd see information re: the caller ID and which line the incoming call is coming in for. This is the experience when the phone is unlocked and the Zoom app is active. However, since that's almost never the case, is there a way to get that information on a locked iPhone's screen when the call is coming in? Thanks.

I work for a nonprofit organization and we have been trying to get an SMS campaign submitted for months. I have followed the campaign creation checklist to a T, and I continue to get vague rejection messages that don't make sense based on all the work we've done to make our campaign legitimate. It's frustrating because we don't use Zoom texting for any commercial purposes anyway- we rely on it to communicate with our clients. Below is the message I got with our most recent campaign rejection:

  • Upstream CNP declined sharing request for campaign CWIOFGR. Explanation: Opt in message does not have brand or disclosures, Inadequate details on website consent method

I left the Opt-in Message as it was when I submitted the form (Zoom automatically creates it for you, and I would assume they do so with the appropriate requirements in place) so I'm confused as to how that could be the issue. Here's the message: "Text START to receive text messages from [our org name here]. Message frequency may vary. Message and Data Rates may apply. To end messaging from us, reply with STOP. Reply with HELP for more information."

Below is the info I provided in the website consent method box:

  • Description: Consumers opt-in to receive messages when they submit some webforms by checking a box to receive communications from [our org name here]via SMS text. If the box is not checked, they will not receive messages. These forms include a disclosure which states that messaging and data rates may apply, frequency may vary, and they can reply STOP any time to opt out of SMS messages.

Does anyone know why we are still getting rejected? I even sent a screenshot of our web forms to Zoom support, and they said that the opt in/opt out messages we wrote on the checkbox section were adequate. Any help would be greatly appreciated, our ability to serve our community depends on this essential function. Thanks!
