Hi! I tried searching for something on-point but I can't find my situation through search here.

 

Problem: In the last few days, I cannot accept or place a Zoom Phone call on any device (iOS, Polycom desk phone). This is new. When I answer the phone, or when I try to place a call, I get the same message: "We are unable to complete your call due to restrictions set by your administrator."

 

I am the only administrator and I have not set any restrictions, and checking the usual suspects isn't revealing anything that appears misconfigured. 

 

Anyone have any advice on this problem?

Hi all, 

 

we recently implemented Zoom for Salesforce Lightning and we are spending time with our dispatchers and received some feedback. Any help is appreciated. 

 

1. What is the best way to link notes from a call to a case? 

2. What is the best way to record a call against the case feed?

3. Dispatchers have access to various phones numbers. They are able to switch the number to make calls, however, when they want to SMS from different numbers they are unable to switch the FROM phone number

Regarding Nomadic Emergency calling in US/Canada.

Q1 - Is there a length limitation for "Address Line 2" in the Emergency Address screen ?

 

Q2 - Which NENA standard for the PSAP Location element does ZP support ?

NENA v1 limited this field to 20 characters

NENA v2 increased this field to 60 characters.

 

Q3 - I want to verify in the Emergency Address screen the field "Address Line 2" is supposed to be the Dispatchable Location at the street address that is supposed to be communicated to first responders . 

Is Address Line 2 displayed the PSAP operator as the NENA Location ?

I am a freelance travel writer, US based but taking multiple trips yearly to the Caribbean where I do much of my work. I use a Skype number for many calls back to the US and Canada but M/soft is dumping Skype in May. I do not regard M/soft as a company to trust with "Teams" which strikes me as far too complicated as a Skype replacement. I understand I can port (move) my Skype number so it is used in Zoom Phone. I want to be able to make and receive VOIP calls from a Zoom Phone app on my laptop which also runs on my cell phone. I do not often make calls using this number to anywhere other than the USA and Canada. Whatsapp is not practical for this use since so many people I call in the US don't have it. WHAT DO READERS HERE THINK OF USING ZOOM AS A SKYPE REPLACEMENT? This is for me only, I'm on the phone a lot every day.  IS IT A SIMPLE, SEAMLESS TRANSITION? Which Zoom Phone level would be best? THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING!

Viewing Blocked List for all users

Has anyone been able to centralise a blocked contacts list? I'm currently an admin only access so the only way to view everyones blocked contacts would be to login to their account. I'd like to see if there is anyway around this or maybe I need to re... Show more

Has anyone been able to centralise a blocked contacts list? I'm currently an admin only access so the only way to view everyones blocked contacts would be to login to their account. 

 

I'd like to see if there is anyway around this or maybe I need to request account management access. Open to hear what path others took if they didn't manage to centralise the blocked list.

Sending faxes using Online Faxing not working

I enabled Online Faxing on my line for testing. I am able to receive faxes, but sending faxes is not working. I receive the error 'Sent fax failed'. No explanation. The sent faxes appear in my drafts folder. I checked the logs in Phone System Managem... Show more

I enabled Online Faxing on my line for testing. I am able to receive faxes, but sending faxes is not working. I receive the error 'Sent fax failed'. No explanation. The sent faxes appear in my drafts folder. I checked the logs in Phone System Management and there is no evidence of a fax that was sent and failed. I also checked my personal profile fax settings and nothing is there. Is there somewhere I can look to see why the fax failed so I can troubleshoot?

I am hoping you guys can help me.

When i answer a zoom phone call, about 20 seconds into the call, the sound/mic will completely stop.

This happens with internal and external calls.

I have checked firewall settings, uninstalled/installed zoom and Jabra direct for my headset.

I have also tried USB and Bluetooth headsets.

Changed PCs. It has to be a zoom issues, but checking the call logs, the signal is not lost and all shows no problems.

Everything is all up to date.

All settings match on zoom and the pc settings. There is no pattern.

5 out of 6 calls will do this. Sometimes cut out at 20 seconds, other times I can be on the phone for 20 minutes and it will then cut out.

An error message pops up saying Microphone has stopped working properly.

I can then make another call straightaway while the error message is showing and it will work perfectly.

Again could be 20 seconds, could be 20 minutes before it stops working.

Hey there!

 

My company just recently changed phone systems to Zoom phone. With our previous carrier, we were able to use a soft phone on the computer and type in a phone number/menu option with the physical keyboard, and by copying and pasting/clearing numbers into the keypad dial. This was very useful because while working in Healthcare, a lot of insurance companies request ID numbers for our providers, like their Tax ID, NPI, or a patient's member ID. 

Is there a way to provide this feedback to the development team? It's my first post, so I'm not sure if you can like or upvote, but if you can please do if you agree!

I jus signed up to try zoom to see if it's any better than Vonage.  Oh my, the setup is way more complex than it needs to be.  Ok I made my first call using zoom app on my iPHone, after 18 min call dropped. Now can't make any calls, "call failed" and once I did see "account inactive code 1301403".  Support person didn't have too much of a clue, I told her of the issues I had with initial setup with assigning a package, and generating a number, etc etc.. and she asked me to re-assign the packages to the user account, then I couldn't add the number back after I un-binded it.  I was able to figure out on my own I had to remove it from being some company number of something.. this thing is like a whole PBX setup.. crazy for an end user VOIP system.  Anyway, after re-assigning packages, reinstalling iPhone zoom app etc etc,  still doesn't work same error.  Support escalated my case waiting for response, but thought I would come here for any suggestions.
