A host option to limit chat messages (for example, one message every 3–5 seconds per participant) would keep discussions manageable in open meetings, seminars, and classrooms. The issue: In larger meetings, even one participant can send dozens of rapid messages, burying important instructions or questions and disrupting the flow. Existing features like passwords, waiting rooms, or private links help, but many sessions must remain open or semi-open. Proposed solution: A lightweight host control to set a chat rate limit. This would not restrict normal conversation but would prevent chat flooding. Benefits: Environment:
- Keeps discussions readable.
- Reduces disruption in open or classroom settings.
- Easy to implement as a host control.
- Saves hosts and participants from unnecessary stress.
Device type: MacBook Pro (Apple Silicon)
Zoom version: Workplace for Mac 6.5.12 (63499)
Troubleshooting: Tried existing security settings; issue persists for open events.

Hello,
How can I switch off that zoom records faces of other people than me in group sessions? Thank you for your help!
When you sign in the "Stay signed in" checkbox is automatically checked by default. How can I change this so that is is NOT checked by default?
I have downloaded the windows version. When I tried to schedule a meeting the time format is in US mode. When I try to switch to the format I like, I am connected to myaccount page on the web. There the format is the preferred one. Using the settings on the windows app it directs me back to the zoom.us settings page. What can I do to have the same format in all platforms I am using my account? Thanks

I am forced to schedule my meetings, which I haven't done it so far. My students have my personal ID and password and I just clicked in meetings and started. Now, that option disappeared and I am forced to schedule the meeting with a calendar. Could you help me, please?

How can I enable 1024 HD video so my participants can see HD content? I can purchase the business version for testing
Hello, I work in Executive recruiting and I am scheduling meetings over Zoom for our clients & candidates to meet. I often times have several (5+) meetings at the same time or overlapping. I do not join these meetings. Is there any license or solution out there to schedule multiple meetings at the same time? We have the Business plus plan and everything I understand, there is nothing better we can purchase to allow this. Thanks!

I have been using Zoom to teach voice lessons online since Covid, and while there were sometimes some lag or freezing, I could always hear my students sing. Starting 2-3 months ago, the audio in Zoom became increasingly more problematic, and now doesn't work any more at all for singing. At present, I am only using Zoom for one student. We can hear each other speak, he can hear my keyboad, and he can hear when I sing to demonstrate, but I cannot hear him half the time. The sound cuts in and out. Why is this? Something obviously changed at Zoom. There has been no change to either of our computers. What changes did Zoom make to audio that created this problem?
