I am deeply frustrated and disappointed with the way my payment issue has been handled.

I opened a ticket and provided all the necessary details right away. Then, I waited patiently for a whole day, hoping for a resolution. But because this issue affects not just me but a group of 120 people who have been practicing Yoga online for the past 5 years using two Zoom accounts, I decided to follow up by calling your support line at 800.

When I finally got through, instead of resolving my issue, the support professional opened another ticket unnecessarily, even though I had already provided all the details in my existing ticket. Then, I was asked to close my original ticket, which I did, trusting that this would help speed up the process.

I was then asked to provide screenshots of my Google Pay transaction and bank details, which I promptly shared. I have been extremely cooperative throughout this process, yet yesterday, I was told that since my account is on a free plan and Zoom claims they haven’t received the payment, I need to contact my bank instead.

Let me be very clear—I am responsible for setting up and maintaining our Zoom account for a community of 120 dedicated Yoga practitioners. It has now been a full week, and I have checked my bank account multiple times. The amount has not been refunded, nor does it show any payment error. I am almost 100% certain that Zoom (ZVC India Pvt Ltd) has received my payment.

At this point, I am even considering paying again, but I am afraid I will run into the same frustrating issue. Should I be looking at alternative platforms instead of Zoom?

This is not the first time I’ve had issues with Zoom payments. I’ve had multiple payment failures even while using Indian credit cards, forcing me to try different accounts to get payments through. If anyone checks my chat history, they will find several past cases related to payment failures.

I have been a loyal user for years, managing Zoom for an entire Yoga community. I need this issue resolved immediately. Please do not delay any further—this is not just about money, but about the smooth functioning of a group that relies on Zoom for their daily practice.

I was going into a meeting and when I connected the audio it closed, I thought it was because I had too many tabs in the background so I closed everything and restarted. When I opened only zoom I could enter but when I hit connect shared audio again it closed, I hit test audio and if I could my headphones worked while it was being tested. So I closed and tried to set the audio to connect automatically and when I went to settings and then audio settings it closed the settings. Could someone please help me.

I was hosting a webinar.  I had closed captioning enabled for accessibility purposes for the delegates.  I always mute my microphone when showing videos.  I was talking to a colleague while a video played and noticed that my words were being incorporated in the closed captions in addition to the words from the video!  HELP!  This is not OK.  If a presenter is muted, I cannot imagine how closed captioning is picking up my language.  It is very distracting for attendees and also a  privacy issue.  I absolutely double checked that I was muted and I was.  How do I get closed captioning to not record what I am saying when I am muted.  The captured closed captioning errors are also in the recording.

I frequently use the remote control feature. Today the student could manipulate the shared screen but I could not see what she was doing. She was also unable to type. Any reason or way to fix it so that I can see what she is manipulating. I have used this feature many times in the past without issue.  Help?

I use Zoom (via a link) in Safari 18.3.1 on macOS 15.3.2, but always encounter issues:

1. The connection is always unstable.
2. The video freezes, and the audio lags and stutters.
3. When I try to share my screen, Zoom shows the Zoom tab instead of the tab that I have selected (if I have selected to share a window) or the entire screen (if I have selected to share the entire screen).

Notes:

• These issues are unique to Zoom and do not affect Meet or Teams.
• Turning off wifi and switching to a phone hotspot helps somewhat, making me wonder if Zoom somehow changes the settings based on the connection. But again, I have no issues with Meet or Teams on wifi, so the issues are unique to Zoom.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a problem yesterday at a Zoom meeting.  I was using a laptop in the same room as the presenter.  I have done this many times without any problems.  I have a headset with a microphone connected to the laptop.    When I was let in to the meeting, for some unknown reason Zoom did not detect my speaker nor microphone.  (And i did not know that until I was let in to the meeting.)   But the laptop was causing echo in the Zoom meeting.  There was no way that I could mute my session because, as Zoom did not recognize my microphone and speaker/headphones, it did not provide me with a mute icon.  This has never happened before, and it did not happen when I just tested the laptop and headset with another Zoom session.  I have no idea why Zoom did not sense my microphone and headset.  But I consider it a bug that Zoom did not present me with any way to mute.  I had to disconnect from the Zoom session.

I'm trying to use the Shared Polls feature announced in Zoom meetings version 6.3.  While I see the share to option, and the Sharing interface comes up, I cannot find any users to share to!  I tried both email address and display names of known active users in my account.  Adding a user to my personal contacts did not make a difference.

I have always been able to give remote control to another person but now the button has disappeared. I have checked my settings, uninstalled and reinstalled the app but its simply not there? I can see this has been a problem for a lot of people but has anyone solved it?

Recently I noticed that Zoom is experiencing some segfaults shortly after it starts, then a few other times during a meeting. It also happened a couple of times during a meeting and after a segfault, my mouse would get very slow, the whole UI would be super slow, after about 30s or so without touching the mouse the computer looked normal again. During this period the audio for me and my video to other participants was not affected, I could talk and hear everybody, nobody mentioned my video freezing. However, once I touched the mouse again, the slowness would start again, once the computer was "normal" I could use the keyboard without any issues, I could open other applications, move windows, etc.

The only real fix is to force reboot my laptop.
