Starting October 23, 2026, Zoom Scheduler Basic will no longer be included with Zoom Workplace Basic and Pro plans. This change affects only Zoom Scheduler — it does not impact your ability to schedule, join, or host regular Zoom Meetings. You're not affected if you:Activated/onboarded to Scheduler before Sept 4, 2026 (access is preserved) Already have a paid Scheduler add-on Only use standard Zoom MeetingsYou may be affected if you:Haven't activated Scheduler yet and are on Workplace Basic/Pro Want to create a new booking page after the changeIf access isn't preserved and you don't upgrade: booking pages get deactivated, shared links stop accepting new bookings, but you can still view/cancel (not reschedule) past bookings.Your options: keep preserved access, upgrade to a paid Scheduler plan, or try the free trial (30 days for existing users, 14 days for new users). What is Zoom Scheduler?A booking-page tool that lets others pick an open time on your calendar — no email back-and-forth.

Hello. I am brand new to Zoom, although I did retire from a ~40-year IT career, so I am hopefully not completely ignorant of many of the concepts. My high school class is planning a reunion during 2027, and we would like to make it a hybrid live and remote participation event to accommodate some of our classmates who are no longer able to travel long distances. I viewed the introductory user videos on the Zoom learning portal, and I hoped to follow that with educational material on the basic concepts and skills for Zoom Meetings administration. I did find some course ware on that subject listed in the Zoom site, but it appears that it was all retired in March, 2026. I don’t see anything listed to replace it. Also, some of the user introduction guides were not as detailed as I had hoped. For example, I could not access a screenshot of the participants that showed the sidebar with their names. Examples of that, and similar screenshots, would be most helpful. What would be the best way fo

Zoom Revenue Accelerator (ZRA) is not the same tool it was six months ago. And honestly, most people have not caught up yet.I have been knee-deep in ZRA conversations lately and I want to share what changed, where the real value is, and the gaps that keep getting in the way. So What Changed?Zoom acquired Common Room in July. In September we launched the AI-powered Revenue OS. ZRA is now part of a full lifecycle revenue engine — identify warm leads, engage and build pipeline, coach reps on real conversations, and close and forecast deals with CRM-powered intelligence. All under one roof.Three tiers now — Essentials (the ZRA you know), Premium (adds AI Sales Assist, AI Roleplay, and AskZRA with tokens), and Elite (full Revenue OS with Engage and Forecast). Existing customers sit on Essentials and can trial the AI tools today.Quick callout on AskZRA — this one is flying under the radar. You can query all your conversations. Community-sourcing! Personally, I’ve found that other than functioning as an aesthetically displeasing ‘skin’ with less access to intuitive operations and worse color contrast (that also disregards our previously-set branding choices and still fluctuates between Sentence case and Title Case with reckless abandon - classic Zoom), there’s no significant user/admin-facing functional difference between the ‘new experience’ and the old one (required migration on September 30th, 2026).I’m a grumpy-grump, but I’m ready to listen/learn. I am legitimately curious to know a.) if anyone finds the new experience to be a quality-of-life improvement and b.) why? I also expect that there are some changes under the hood that the new experience facilitates - would be great to hear from Zoom as to what we can expect with this in play after forced transitions at the end of the month.

Why would they do this? Now you have to open multiple tabs to get anything done in Zoom. Genuinely thinking of switching our company to Teams full time, why pay for a subscription that has over complicated itself for no reason. Not being able to find recordings, meetings, or webinars quickly and having to open a separate page for each one is ridiculous. Who even complained about the previous layout? Everything was where you could easily get to it.

Imagine 5 to 15 retired seniors meeting to be taught and/or discuss a subject of interest. Sometimes all parties are in their homes connecting by Zoom. Sometimes everyone except the speaker is in one room like a church social hall or the back room of a small restaurant with a large screen TV and an upgraded microphone/camera on a laptop. The problem is that most of the time there are a mix of people in the room on phones, tablets or laptops; There are also people in the room depending on a communal monitor, speaker, mike and camera to participate. Finally, there are some people trying to be in both worlds with a phone for speaker and mike, but using the monitor to see the group.  The pure groups work fine but the mixed groups have problems with not enough volume, not enough mike sensitivity and feedback. I am sure that part of the problem involves managing the layout of the groups but part of the problem is not having the right equipment. We are not a business with

Hey Zoomies! Here's a scenario that happens more often than we'd like to admit:A customer emails you a week after your last call: "Can you resend what we discussed?"And then the hunt begins. Was it in the meeting recording? The summary? A Whiteboard you built together? A Doc someone shared in chat?Sound familiar? You're not alone — and that's exactly the problem Zoom Hub was designed to solve.  What Is Zoom Hub?Zoom Hub is a centralized place within Zoom Workplace to access and manage all the assets your team already creates — meeting recordings, meeting summaries, Canvas, Whiteboards, Clips, and more.Instead of remembering which part of Zoom holds a particular resource, Hub gives you a single starting point to surface and work with content wherever it already lives. Your assets aren't moved into a new storage location — Hub simply gives you a smarter, unified way to find them.Think of it as your team's "after the meeting" home base. A Real-World Sales ExampleImagine a sales rep who ju

Does zoom have a simple calculator, NOT a graphic, calculus, or advanced calculator that I can use with children?

Hey, Zoom fam! Today I want to put you onto something that makes people's jaws drop almost every time I demo it: "Hold on — I can do that WITHOUT a Zoom meeting?!" Real talk: We all love Zoom AI’s meeting summaries. But not every important conversation happens on a Zoom call. The random desk huddle, the whiteboard brainstorm, the coffee-shop client catch-ups, those chats are packed with golden ideas and action items that just… poof the second everyone walks away. Great conversations deserve to be remembered. Here's how Zoom’s My Notes helps you capture them. Super simple. Open Zoom Workplace on your phone or laptop, start a note, and just let it listen. No meeting link, no invite, no "can everyone hear me?" Your mic does the work, Zoom transcribes in real time, and when you wrap up, Zoom AI hands you:An organized summary Action items & next steps Key takeaways & decisions Quick Story. Over the past couple years, but the last year in particular, the utility of Zoom has been undermined by spam.Zoom’s strategy has been to offload this problem to its customers.“Just Unsubscribe”Zooms unsubscribe utility simply DOES NOT WORK.  For the umpteenth time, here’s the proof.  All of these are from one account.  I unsubscribed after every email (you’re welcome for the free labor)  “Just fill out our Trust & Safety Forms”Honestly, all you need to do is look in your OWN spam folders and imagine taking the time out of YOUR day to navigate to some company’s trust and safety form and fill it all out.   It takes minutes.I’ve received a dozen Zoom spam messages in the past day..  Just exactly how much free labor do you want from us?ZOOM’S SUPPORT STRATEGY UNDERMINES ITS PRODUCT STRATEGYZoom bills itself as an AI company.  Yet their AI capabilities seemingly can’t recognize these exquisitely simple spam patterns.  You can’t provide unsubscribe that works.  You can’t create a 1-click

I am having an issue with a Zoom webhook event subscription. The endpoint URL is not being validated successfully, even though the endpoint is available and responding. I have checked the webhook configuration and endpoint settings, but the validation still fails. Has anyone experienced this issue or knows what could cause it?

If your Zoom billing portal shows Tax Exempt: Pending and it feels like it's been stuck there forever — you're not alone, and there's a clear path to get it sorted. Here's what that status actually means and exactly what to do next. What “Pending / Under Review” Really MeansWhen you submit a tax exemption request, Zoom's billing team has to review and validate your documentation before flipping your account to exempt. While that review is happening, your account sits in a Pending state. You'll typically see a message like this in the Sold To Contact section of your billing portal:"Your tax exemption status is currently under review. You may be charged tax upon placing an order. Should your exemption be approved, we will credit all refundable taxes/fees to your account."The important takeaway: you're protected financially. If tax is charged while your request is pending, Zoom credits back all refundable taxes and fees once the exemption is approved. So a "Pending" status doesn't mean yo
