We use Poly Edge E450 desk phones with Zoom phone, in addition to softphone. I have a user that is wanting to selectively send an incoming call to his voicemail. However, when he presses the Reject button on the desk phone, it then follows his call handling "when a call is not answered call" instructions which then forwards the call to a call queue. Anyone aware of a way to send the caller to voicemail instead of following call handling? Reject button on desk phone is basically ignore not reject.

Resolved! I want to cancel porting a phone number

I purchased a yearly zoom phone subscription and requested to port a phone number. However, I found out that porting a number could take 30 days and I can't wait that long so I canceled the request. Now I cannot assign the original Zoom number becaus... Show more

I purchased a yearly zoom phone subscription and requested to port a phone number.  However, I found out that porting a number could take 30 days and I can't wait that long so I canceled the request.  Now I cannot assign the original Zoom number because it says that the number is being processed for porting.  How can I get the whole process canceled so that I can use the original number assigned to me by Zoom?

Resolved! Use Phone Extension

Do I have to have a phone extension, can I just have the direct call come through with out having the caller dial an extension? If so how do I do that?

Also, can I have the call transfer to another line if I am on a call? If so how do I do that?

We have a setup where there are three users that each have their own IVR option from the main IVR prompt. E.g. press 1 for Leslie, 2 for Henry, etc. We also have a #4 option for after hours emergencies. We want each of the users to be able to have no... Show more

We have a setup where there are three users that each have their own IVR option from the main IVR prompt.  E.g. press 1 for Leslie, 2 for Henry, etc.  We also have a #4 option for after hours emergencies. 

 

We want each of the users to be able to have normal calls, directly to their extensions (1, 2, 3) to go to voicemail after hours.  But if someone presses 4, to go into the Call Queue (which we already have) for after hours. 

 

I can't change the business hours on the users because then the emergency option doesn't forward to anyone.  And I can't change the business hours on the IVR and use say an "alternate" IVR because Zoom doesn't support multiple IVRs with the same extension. 

 

How can this be accomplished?

Zoom Phone Assistant always on top

Hello all, I find the Phone Assintat quite useful, which hides in idle state. But when a call is active, there is no way to hide or minimize it. If you have several widgets or Speed Dial buttons, it can use a lot of space, and you have to keep moving... Show more

I find the Phone Assintat quite useful, which hides in idle state. But when a call is active, there is no way to hide or minimize it. If you have several widgets or Speed Dial buttons, it can use a lot of space, and you have to keep moving it around to see the screen behind it (document, web, etc.).

 

I think it should have a minimize option to show just the call control bar during a call.

Can this plan be for an individual who isn't in a business and wants a home office phone for people to call during work hours? 

I own a VoIP IP phone - Yealink T46s with locally hosted FreePBX. I wanted to finally switch to a cloud services provider that would allow my "office" or "work" phone to be active 24/7 through the cloud so anyone could call me using my work number rather than personal.

 

Please let me know if this plan is what I should choose for my needs.

We are looking to map a users secondary emergency address from their home address in Okta.

Im told this can be done via API, we have been unsuccessful thus far.

We could run the API and It would add an emergency address "As" the user, but never added it to their profile. So  it was just sitting in the emergency address pool, which doesn't help us.

 

Has anyone accomplished this? and can you please help by letting me know how?
