It's been almost a month that all of the blue the audio stopped working when I was in a meeting. I can't listen to anyone or any other sound when I'm the host.  I thought the problem could be with my device so I changed the earphones, but nothing happened. Apparently the program can recognize my mic but i don't hear any sound (even when I try the "test" on settings".
I deleted and downloaded the app again, but it didn't fix the problem. I sent a message to the support, but nobody answered me and I'm still paying for this without being able to use it.

Problem

I'm using my Airpods Pro 2 to take Zoom calls on my PC running Windows 11. Despite keeping the volume to 100%, I can barely hear what the others are saying only in a Zoom call. When I'm playing audio via Spotify windows app, or Youtube via browser, 20% volume is sufficient to provide that clarity.

 

When I keep Spotify playing on the side with say 30% volume and open Zoom settings -> Audio, there is a pause in the playback and then the audio playing via Spotify becomes barely audible. The loudness drops drastically (despite keeping 100% volume) only on Zoom calls or Zoom audio settings. 100% volume on Zoom feels like 20% or less in other apps. The mic output seems fine though. I'm noticing a similar issue with my older Airpods Pro gen 1 headphones as well.

 

More details

Device type: Windows 11 Professional on custom PC running Intel Z690 motherboard with built in bluetooth support.

Zoom version:  5.14.11 (17466)

 

What I've tried already

I tried factory resetting the Airpods, unpairing & repairing them, checked the Sound settings in Windows to ensure Zoom volume is 100%, also disabled all sound effects in Sound settings.

 

The Airpods Pro work fine with my phone, the volume and loudness is perfect.

new meeting problem

after my zoom was updated recently, everytime i want to start a new meeting, it gives me message that i have another open meeting , which is not correct. i signed out and signed in again but no change. any suggestion please.

Zoom recordings fail to load

I have recorded meetings, but when I go to Meetings>Recordings, all I get is the loading timer. This has been going on for days. How do I access my recordings when nothing on the Recording page will load?

I'm having trouble with the Zoom app on my computer. When I try to create a meeting, it doesn't show up, but the app icon suggests that I'm in a meeting. Additionally, whenever I go to the audio settings, the app crashes completely.

However, the Zoom web version in my browser works fine—I'm able to create meetings and access audio settings without any problems.

I’ve tried updating, reinstalling the app, and checking my system’s audio settings, but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have a solution?

Resolved! delete in-meeting chat

Hello, 

 

why can't messages be deleted or moderated in in-chat meetings and webinars? It would be a great feature. Now in-chat meetings are very risky and it is often safer to disable or limit them to host and co-hosts only.

Zoom can not detect Camera

I have been using Zoom for months. Today the camera on my end was not working. My camera is ON and the message comes up 'Zoom can not detect camera' 

Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a large meeting that needs to have the waiting room feature turned off at a certain point to let many attendees in.  I am unable to get this to work during an active meeting without ending the meeting and restarting after the settings have been updated. 

 

I have found this statement in some automated zoom documentation:

"Yes, you can update the waiting room feature during a meeting. As the meeting host, you have the ability to enable or disable the waiting room feature while the meeting is in progress. You can also customize the waiting room title, logo, and description at an account, group, or user level. To update the waiting room feature during a meeting, you can access the waiting room settings and make the necessary changes based on your preferences."

Has anyone made this work?

 

I am aware there are settings for the waiting room in both Profile and Admin. Both of these are turned off in my current testing, but my meeting has been set to have a waiting room for the scheduled meeting. 

In the Zoom workplace dashboard it is possible to update the settings and save them, but this does not work in my case. It only works if I end the meeting and start it again which will not work for my current use case.
