I couldn't find a place to start my live webinar today so I started it in practice mode.  I had my husband test it and it also said that people could begin loggin in once I started.  I had 19 signed up but nobody attended.  I know it's possible that maybe they just signed up and didn't show, but I want to make sure I didn't do something wrong.  If I start my webinar in practice mode will attendees still be able to log in?  I couldn't find the answer on the support site.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

History of meetings attended

Where in my account settings on Zoom can I see a history of the meetings or presentations I attended, whether I hosted or someone else did?

Recurring meetings half gone?

I still have 3 of my original recurring meetings but others are missing. I found the link for one in an email and the zoom room appears to exist but I cannot add or edit if the meeting is not in my account list. What is going on and what can I do to ... Show more

I have searched at both the Zoom Admin level and the user level to find the recommended solution provided by @CarlaA to this issue, and the solution doesn't exist. When I search for the keyword Merge, I get this response: No Setting Found. I have people at my organization who DO NOT want their calendar and Zoom meetings to be merged mainly because they are responsible for setting Zoom meetings for other leadership in the organization, and they need to be able to quickly go in and find what they need and fix it. 

 

I need a solution to this issue.

Movie not showing for students

The piss poor customer support offered by Zoom notwithstanding, I would like to find a solution as to why a movie I show during a meeting (class) is not showing for students.  All they is a black screen.

 

I connect to the platform hosting the movie through a link sent to me by Social Dilemma. I have used the link to show this movie probably 20 times with no real issues. When I tried to show it recently, all student could see was a black screen and the closed captions. They could also hear the dialogue, but only a black screen was showing for them. 

 

Suggestions appreciated.

Camera icon with meeting list disappeared on desktop app. What is the problem? Why would you remove one of the most useful features?

Why are these question not answered by  Zoom support staff. 

It is frustrating  reading a long list of users with the same problem and not find a solution.

It disappeared after the last update.

Zoom Causes Windows Screen Updates to Slow and Programs to Hang

I'm on Windows 10 with the latest updates and the latest zoom Version: 5.17.11 (34827). I have set a frame update rate of 10 fps.

 

The issue occurs when you are sharing your screen (probably windows also) and you have low bandwidth, rather than drop frames it slows the computer and holds up presumably those programs that are making screen updates.  Zoom is not sending screen updates but has somehow inserted itself into the screen update process itself.  I do not have the same issue in the same circumstances when not sharing the screen.

 

I have seen it slow my powerful Windows computer with huge bandwidth at home as well but my laptop and I are currently on holidays.

 

As I am teaching an Android smartphone course, I use a great open-source program called "ScrCpy" to mirror the screen over USB to my Windows Computer.  I first noticed that what my computer's screen was showing was lagging many seconds!  I later noticed that the phone itself was lagging and in one case even hung.

 

I'm not sure what the logic of telling all my participants that I had low bandwidth but not telling me that vital information is.

 

Zoom won't accept bug reports from me and I think that helps explain it's many "features" (I have a host key but not a licence).

When I'm in a meeting (even if I'm hosting it), if I'm on my ipad and try to turn on mic or video, I get an error message

 

"UNABLE TO ACCESS MICROPHONE: Allow zoom to access your microphone from device menu: SETTINGS - PRIVACY - MICROPHONE.

or

"UNABLE TO ACCESS CAMERA: Allow zoom to access your camera from device menu: SETTINGS - PRIVACY - CAMERA.

 

On this ipad, when I go to settings, there is no PRIVACY section, only "PRIVACY AND SECURITY." When I click on that, clicking on either MICROPHONE or CAMERA shows one option

APP CLIPS: "Applications that have requested access to the camera/microphone will appear here" but the list is empty. Thoughts? Ive deleted and re-downloaded Zoom and it's stayed the same!
