On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

For a zoom account shared by several people, we established a free Outlook account, which is only used via the web interface.  It would be very convenient to add the Zoom Outlook Add-in (Web) to this account, but when following the intructions here  the Microsoft Add-in page pops up "Taking you to Microsoft 365 to complete the process" and then returns to the add-in page showing "Installation failed". No other message or hint.

 

Very possibly we need to do something to the Outlook account to get it authorized for add-ins? (Like pay money?) but I can't find any info on how to do that. All hints welcome!

I installed the Zoom for Chrome PWA from Google Play. After it finished installing, it said Zoom would be available shortly. That was half an hour ago and I still don't see any sign of Zoom on my chromebook. The "install" button on Play now says "Install on more devices," implying that it's already installed on this one, but it's not. Where's my PWA?

Sound notifications for meetings

About this setting:

Host and co-hosts: The chime sound can only be heard by the host or co-hosts of the meeting

 

Isn't there the possibility to have the sound for Host only?

Admitted a new Zoom user. I'm a paid user and have cloud storage. I was a participant today in a meeting hosted by another. I was able to request recording and believe the meeting was successfully recorded after the host gave permission. The "end recording" message appeared when we left the meeting. I have not been successful retrieving the recording. Any ideas on how I can do this?

Is there a zoom function for the webcams? 

I have a Logitech C920 and using their software, it has zooming capability, to bring the camera closer to your face.

I can't seem to find this function on Zoom?

Automatic recording

I went to my recording settings and turned off the automatic recording when meeting using my personal meeting room. It is still auto recording. How do I turn this off?

Meeting length on Pro plan

Hi,

Do you know how can I create a zoomus:// link using the meeting id and the password hash?

 

Its annoying to need to open the web browser on a zoom.us/j link to open the desktop app.
