On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

I used to get phone calls through my cellphone and my desktop, but for some reason now it only goes to my phone. I checked settings and I have it set correctly. What should I do?

SMS Group Threads

I activated a new phone line yesterday (I'm the Zoom account owner), made the full configuration as required, but when I try to make a call via the mobile app or via my desktop app, I get a message saying “it is impossible to make the call, please try again later”. I would like to point out that all my software's are in up-to-date versions and that all my devices have the required configurations for Zoom IP calls.

Do any of you have this problem?

Zoom cancelled our active SMS Campaign and asked us to resubmit a new Campaign.  After a couple of quick rejections, our current Campaign has been in Pending status for close to 4 weeks?!  Client support continues to be of no help, so looking for any other options other than just giving up and switching services.  We only use it for client meeting confirmations and reminders, so any help appreciated.

Unable to Receive Calls

Just today, callers are unable to call us.  They get a recording suggesting that Zoom phone is now out of order.  Does anyone know how to get Zoom to correct this problem.

I opened a ticket

The ticket response came in the next day asking to check business hours and queue.

I checked business hours (7 days, 24 hours), and checked Calls in Queue (I have no queue)

I replied - no response yet. Maybe no response till after Labor Day? Meanwhile my customers are not able to reach me. 

Any help would be much appreciated

I have zoom meetings and phone.  The video meetings continue to function normally, but today when I try to make an outgoing phone call from my laptop, I get a message on my screen "Not connected, trying to reconnect".  It never connects.  I am out of the office at a public WIFI network, but connection appears to be fine.  (had zoom video meeting)  Incoming phone calls connect to voicemail, and messages are received.  I can send outgoing SMS messages on the same phone without problem.  No changes have been made to any administrative settings.

 

SOLUTION - I switched the laptop to my cellphone's hotspot instead of the public WIFI, and I was able to make zoom phone calls on my laptop!

Resolved! Automatically goes to Voicemail

I believed to have setup the phone system, however, all inbound calls go directly to voicemail. Unless, they know my extension. Can you set it up so that all calls can be answered unless I decline and then they go to VM?  Thanks, in advance.
