Hi!

We use Zoom phone and would like some sort of notification of any missed call.

Scenario:

Client makes an incoming call to our 'call queue' and rings for 30 seconds, but does not leave a voicemail.

Currently, we just look at the zoom desktop client at various times during the day but we'd really like to set up a notification.

Any ideas, creative or easier?!

Thanks

Richard

Keep main line on Common Area phone but allow Hot Desking?

An Auto Receptionist answers the main number for our firm. It forwards to a Call Queue which has two members, the Common Area phones which are answered by the receptionists at our front desk.

If both of the receptionists have to be away at the same time (and for a while), one of the Executive Assistants will come down to the front desk to greet visitors and take calls for the main line - meaning they are now away from their own desk phone, not covering their manager's line, etc.

We tried enabling Hot Desking on the front desk Common Area phones so an Executive Assistant could sign in and receive calls to their own line (and especially to their manager's line) ...but doing so stopped the front desk phone from being able to receive the main phone number, which is not a workable solution.

While we have thought of other ways in which the Executive Assistant could cover their own calls / manager's calls (such as with the Zoom app on their mobile phone, or the Zoom app when signed into the computer at the front desk), we are still hoping to find a way to let them 'sign in' to the front desk phone but still have the main line show up, so they don't have to juggle multiple headsets (we don't have the kind that can handle multiple inputs) and/or cell phones.

We thought about adding the Executive Assistant to the Front Desk Call Queue when they are there, but that seems like an extra and unnecessary step, as it would require the help of a Zoom Call Queue manager or Zoom Admin - unless there was a way to automate it so that ANYONE who signed into that Common Area phone would be automatically added to the Call Queue, and automatically removed from it when they signed out.

Any ideas we haven't thought of? Thanks for helping us brainstorm on this one!

Hello.  When an incoming call comes in, it takes the focus.  This is frustrating for our customer support reps as they are in the middle of typing notes and the focus is taken away as they type.  Is there a way to have the call still appearing, but not take the front focus?

Answering calls while computer is locked

Does anyone know if there is a way to answer Zoom phone calls while my computer is locked? I lock my computer by pressing Windows+L and sometimes I get calls while my computer is locked. I usually can't sign in fast enough to answer the call.

Hi, I'm having trouble connecting to meetings from my Samsung smartphone using the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Bluetooth headphones. When I connect to a meeting, the audio option identifies three options: Bluetooth, Speaker, and Headset. If I select Bluetooth, I can only hear, and no one can hear me even if I activate the microphone. If I use a headset, the microphone works, but I can't hear anyone else. Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe I have something configured incorrectly.

It is necessary to clarify that I only have this problem with ZOOM, so the proper functioning of the headphones is guaranteed.

Hi everyone,

we are a business that is based in Croatia and we work as a contractor to a firm in the UK. Our work requires us to be able to call UK numbers and to have a UK number of our own.

Thus far we have used Skype for this without any issues, but it is shutting down now so we switched to Zoom.

The issue is that when we try to setup numbers for the UK, we are required to input a UK address and documents proving that this is the address of the business, is there no other way for us to get a UK number and to call UK numbers? This wasn't required on Skype.

Could we at least get a Croatian number and call UK numbers without further charges? We have the "

Zoom Phone Pro Global Select Unlimited" package. Would we be charged additionally for each call to the UK if we got a Croatian number?

When I am dialing a US number from the account, I hear an error message: Sorry, the requested service is not available in your calling plan.

Please help. But I have already subscribed and paid for the Phone plan.
