I've always noticed that tak,ing calls via the Zoom app on my cell phone over wifi or cell network is pretty "laggy".. a normal mobile call is MUCH better. Is there any reason for this? more importantly... any fix for it? I've had other users recently tell me the same thing, so hopefully there's something that can be done.

New Deviee Connection

Hey Team.  I have an Aastra 6721i IP Phone.  It's not listed in the device dropdown menu.  Does anyone have a workaround that might connect this phone?

Thanks

Glenn.

Our last system sync'd with Google Calendar (optionally) to reflect the fact we're in a meeting (not just a Zoom meeting) and effectively mute our office phone temporarily.  For example if we had a meeting on calendar X, the phone would route everything to the department IVR/voice mail menu for "meeting mode" which would give callers some options.

How can I do this with Zoom phone?

People cannot hear me when I we talk on the phone

I use my computer sound when I talk on the phone. That sound works on zoom calls. When that happens using just the phone I don't get properly heard. I have tried raising the volume and setting up the sound to adjust itself. Neither way works. Help! Show more

My company uses the Zoom phones, but we don't have desk phones. I answer office calls via my android cell phone. Recently, I connected a Samsung smartwatch. How do I stop the Zoom phone calls from automatically connecting to my watch? Mid-call I lose the client on my handset and they transfer to my watch. Typically, we're both annoyed and possibly disconnected before I can switch it back. Please advise.

Hi there - we are looking for a USB or Bluetooth speakerphone that attaches to the computer that can be used with the Zoom Phone service.  We want the ability to use the answer/hangup button, mute, volume on the physical speaker device.

I'm trying a zoom certified eMeet M1A.  The mute and volume buttons work, but I can't answer the zoom phone or hangup a call with the speaker device.   I have to use the Zoom app on my computer.

Any suggestions on a fully functional speaker device?  We want to avoid buying actual handsets.

I also do not want to buy each zoom certified device to test.

thanks

Hello,

We have setup auto receptionist that forwards all incoming calls to a call queue extension that answers during specific business hours.  After hours, it goes to voicemail after a greeting with our business hours.

After hours, none of our employees can get through to the office since it goes to voicemail.  Is there a way to set up a 24/7 extension or call queue that employees can call to get through to anyone (assigned members) in the office?

Thank you!

Mike

My company is currently switching from RingCentral to Zoom Phone. I was informed by Zoom that I could pre-assign our RingCentral numbers prior to porting them over to Zoom. I would like to do this so we do not experience any down time. However, Zoom has not been able to tell me how to do this. Do I need to initiate the port of all our numbers and during the process I will be able to pre-assign? Or can I pre-assign prior to initiating the porting process? Any help would be appreciated.

Resolved! SMS question

Hi. I'm trying to get an answer on this.

I'm looking to port my number over from another provider but I wanted to know if I have the ability to send direct sms messages to the phone number and from my phone number?
