Zoom Recording Needs Conversion

I recorded a zoom and near the end of the meeting it said that I didn't have enough disk space. When I was done, I got a message saying I needed to double click files to convert once I cleared some space. I made space, but these files are not doing a... Show more

I recorded a zoom and near the end of the meeting it said that I didn't have enough disk space. When I was done, I got a message saying I needed to double click files to convert once I cleared some space. I made space, but these files are not doing anything when I click them.

 

On the Zoom app I went to local recordings and clicked "convert", but I've had a spinning wheel for about 30 minutes. I realize this could take some time, but does this spinning wheel mean it's working or is nothing happening at all?

 

If someone could give me some input it would be great. Thanks!

1. I can show my camera & other people can see it

2. my problem is - the video images of [other people (who turned on their camera)] don't show (on my MacBook Air 2022 with M2 chip)

3. my zoom version needs update, yes, but the problem has been for last 6 months

4. I cannot use zoom chatbot, it doesn't provide any help for my problem and keeps saying I am not signed in to chat with agent while I was

5. Suggested article concerns when you cannot turn on your camera, which is not the problem here

Anyhelp is appreciated. It's so frustrated not able to see other people's face. I did one interview the day before in this way. it's so weird.

App update - calendar function diminished

I've just updated the app to the newest version, and the events tab is now limited to a single day, with "past" and "recordings" tabs removed from the top, and calendar events no longer have a "join" button, but have a > that requires you to click in... Show more

I've just updated the app to the newest version, and the events tab is now limited to a single day, with "past" and "recordings" tabs removed from the top, and calendar events no longer have a "join" button, but have a > that requires you to click in to the event before you can join, wasting time. Is there any way to revert this change???

Paid for PRO but not upgraded

I paid for the Pro license, but despite that, even after 3 days I am still treated as "basic". Yes, I log in with the same account from which I did the purchase. The purchase was acknowledged by Zoom - they even sent me the bill. The most frustrating... Show more

I paid for the Pro license, but despite that, even after 3 days I am still treated as "basic". Yes, I log in with the same account from which I did the purchase. The purchase was acknowledged by Zoom - they even sent me the bill. The most frustrating thing is that I cannot even open a support ticket, because the system has to recognise you as Pro, and I am taken as Basic. Chatbot is a waste of time...I tried sending mail to the billing (to the email I got my bill from), but no-one seems to attend those. What is happening? I need help urgently.

zoom plans

Why can't zoom offer a plan that is more affordable with just a little more allowance than 40 minutes. The only option at the moment seems to be a huge jump to $20 per month!!!

Overexposed Video

Unlike any other video call software that I use, Zoom does not seem able to balance light levels leading to huge overexposure in daylight conditions. While there is a setting that allows for adjustment to low light there is no equivalent setting for ... Show more

Unlike any other video call software that I use, Zoom does not seem able to balance light levels leading to huge overexposure in daylight conditions. While there is a setting that allows for adjustment to low light there is no equivalent setting for well lit rooms. This makes it very uncomfortable for the people I am calling as my face appears to be glowing very brightly.

 

Is there a setting that I'm missing that will solve this issue?
