For months, I go into my personal room and when people use the link, they simply show up and I let them in. 

Well, not anymore. They wait for the host to start the meeting, or it says the host is in another meeting, while I'm waiting for them to show in the waiting room.  There's no way to connect with them, as if we are in different rooms. This is the primary way I use Zoom -- to screen share with clients -- and I'm dead in the water. I tested it with several people on different computers and locations and no dice.

HOWEVER, it seems if I wait long enough, it seems I get an email someone is waiting and THAT link works. But that is a PIA. What's the deal?

We have separate recurring, scheduled meetings on every day of the week, at different times of the day, all with different meeting IDs.

Anybody with a meeting ID & password can join a meeting, without host or waiting room, and THAT'S THE WAY WE WANT IT. But, of course, only one meeting can be held at the same time from the server.

After a year & and a half of the covid without problems, suddenly last week we began having problems with somebody else already being in a meeting during ours scheduled for a certain time — perhaps for personal conversations, we dunno, doesn't matter — which blocks us from our scheduled meeting until they get off.

How do we restrict a given meeting ID held every week at a certain day & time, and block any other meeting ID for that hour? Even if it abruptly kicks-off any other meeting ID in progress.

I am using 2 different video cards to encode and integrate HD video into zoom meetings. Black Magic Presenter and the AJA U-tap . I am using Zoom version 5.4.7 because I've heard that the newer versions of Zoom do not always work with these cards.Does anyone have experience using these cards with more updated versions of Zoom, and what specific versions of Zoom do work with the above mentioned video cards?

Hi, I'm using Zoom version 5.0.1 (4292.0916)  on the Chromebook. According to the following URL, non-verbal feedback such as the ability to raise hand, the ability to indicate go faster or slower, and to use emojis should be supported. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115001620786-New-Updates-for-Chrome-OS

I can locate the raise hand option by clicking on Participants during the meeting. However, I can't locate the emojis. Are they hidden in another location?

My openSuse Leap 15.2 system (updated to latest software) freezes the Plasma5 desktop when running Zoom and I have to do a manual power off/on reset which hammers the disk drives. This freeze happens randomly after bringing up Zoom. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem? I have the latest Zoom rpm package installed for opensuse.
