Breakout Rooms Option Not Showing in Menu

I have a Pro Zoom Account. 

  • have a Meeting room in my account that anyone can join at any time, whether I am there or not. It's been up for almost 3 years. I almost never have tech issues - maybe twice in 3 years.

When I learned about the Breakout Rooms feature, I created breakout rooms for this Meeting which have been used for a couple of years.

  • The Breakout Room option is set up so anyone can open it (or a number of members of this group who have the host key can open them - I forget which.)

Today I came on the Zoom room and another member who can open the breakout rooms was already there tho not available to talk at that moment...

  • But the breakout rooms were not open and the option to open them did not show up in the menu.
  • This never happened before. 

I checked my account to make sure the option was still selected --  everything was fine.

  • I checked everything I could think of..

After spending 20 minutes searching and researching all this out:

  • I looked at my Zoom room options again and all of a sudden the Breakout Room option was there. 
  • The other member could now talk and said that the breakout room option had not been available
    • But she checked again while we were talking and now the option was there for her too.

I could now open the Breakout rooms.

Does anybody know what happened?

 

(Frankly, it was very annoying to learn that with Pro, I no longer have live phone support, no live chat support nor email support. Just these rooms. This was only the second time in 3 years I needed tech support. I usually can fix things myself.  Don't like that Zoom's downgraded the level of support. -- This Breakout room was urgent as the formal meeting was starting shortly.)

Resolved! creating shortcut for zoom on desktop

From some reason Im not able to create a shortcut for zoom on my desktop even after i press on the file "create shortcut". my operating system is windows 10 pro.

I will be grateful if someone can help.

My guests are online , my screen is distorted, usually turns multi colors / green ,yellow can't see my image & or my videos

I have recorded 2 important business meetings and I was given the possibility to choose between cloud recording and local recording and when trying to access them I have received the message that ". Cloud recording has been disabled". Leaving apart the fact that I should have been informed about that prior to starting the recording (or not being given the opportunity to record on cloud in the first place), is there anyway to recover them sometime?

Issue with 64bit ZoomInstallerFull.msi not silently updating without prompting for admin creds

Is anyone else experiencing an issue where Zoom updates are requiring admin rights to update?  I deployed v5.12.3 (9638) via SCCM a few months back and used the ZoomAutoUpdate="true", EnableSilentAutoUpdate=1;SetUpdatingChannel=0 switches, but they didn't update in the registry, and any Zoom updates are prompting for admin creds.  Here is my installer cmd:

msiexec.exe /i "%~dp0ZoomInstallerFull.msi" /quiet /qn /norestart /log zoommsi.log MSIRestartManagerControl=”Disable” zNoDesktopShortCut="true" zSilentStart="true" ZoomAutoUpdate="true" DisableAdvancedSharingService="true" ZConfig="Min2Tray=1;EnableSilentAutoUpdate=1;SetUpdatingChannel=0"

 

After searching today, I found this page with info on new autoupdating switches.  Enterprise Auto Update policies for the Zoom client – Zoom Support

I updated my installer with the updated autoupdating switches, but it still is requiring admin creds to install updates.  Here is the new installer:

msiexec.exe /i "%~dp0ZoomInstallerFull.msi" /quiet /qn /norestart /log zoommsi.log MSIRestartManagerControl=”Disable” zNoDesktopShortCut="true" zSilentStart="true" DisableAdvancedSharingService="true" ZConfig="AU2_EnableAutoUpdate=1;AU2_SetUpdateChannel=0;AU2_EnableShowZoomUpdates=0;AU2_EnableUpdateAvailableBanner=1;AU2_EnableManualUpdate=1;Min2Tray=1;"

 

Is anyone else seeing this?  Am I messing up some of the cmds in this?

Hello. The video of some particpants reflects others + host and suffers multiple lags. It doesn't seem to happen to anyone else outside this exact combination of participants and it started happening around a month ago, although we had been meeting up for some weeks already. Everyone has already uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom at least once. What can we do?
