Vote now Anyone else getting invitations to zoom calls from spammers? This used to happen a lot to me on other platforms, but it seems that they have now moved to Zoom instead! At least on the other platform it was very easy to report it as spam - but I don't see that here - and the Zoom support AI bot can't handle it !! If anyone knows how to reach a human at Zoom HQ to flag this stuff, please let me know... I am trying to show a 4 minute mp4 video with sound to a group of people via screen share (as part of a workshop/lesson) The video is stored on my google drive and i play it off there and hit screen share. It is clear for me but glitchy, very glitchy, for the rest of the group. Any ideas? Thank you 🙂

I purchased Zoom Phone the basic package ($15). I got a number and I went through the setup. When I try to dial a number it tells me it is not in the plan. The number is in the US. What is it missing. Also it assigned an extension number that I don't want. How do I get rid of it?

I am the host, but cannot screenshare. Nothing has changed in my settings. Thoughts?
I am running free Zoom plan in Windows 11. Once I launch the zoom I have had many issues in accessing many functions which include but not limited to docs, scheduler, whiteboard etc. The error message is "You have run into an error we're trying to identify. Please submit a report to help us fix it.". Only the Whiteboard has another error message "Unable to load this whiteboard. Error code: 300001" I have install and reinstall multiple times to no avail. I have had no issue attending a Zoom meeting but when someone shares the whiteboard I'm unable to see it but only the error message.

Why don't the meetings that are scheduled for me by Cal.com automatically record in Zoom, if I have it set to record at startup?
Apparently I can't get a live person to help. My personal and work meetings SAVED are now missing and I NEED HELP. Does anyone have any suggestions to get help? Those videos include my father, who has passed away and I MUST get them back!!!
How do I disable Zoom from running the background and/or starting on its own?
I have unchecked the box "Start Zoom Workplace When I Start Windows", and even looked through my Task Manager to make sure a Zoom process is not running.
Nonetheless, Zoom continually pops up each morning I open my PC.
What am I missing? If I can't fix this, I'll just plan to uninstall.

i keep getting webinar registration emails that i never opted in for. How do you stop people from registering you for webinars you didn't sign up for?
I have "Always show captions" enabled because I have some auditory processing issues. However, every time I join a meeting, the annoying "A participant has enabled closed captioning" notice floats at the top of my screen and stays there until I close it. Is there any way to disable this notification? I know a participant has enabled closed captioning, it's me. I really don't need to be informed of this every single time. If there isn't a setting for this, can we get one please? Or even make it a sub-setting under "Always show captions", like "Hide caption notification". If someone has "Always show captions" enabled, it seems really pointless to tell them it's been enabled every single time; I'd think the only time we'd want a notification would usually be if captions couldn't be enabled for some reason.
