I purchased Zoom Phone the basic package ($15). I got a number and I went through the setup. When I try to dial a number it tells me it is not in the plan. The number is in the US. What is it missing. Also it assigned an extension number that I don't want. How do I get rid of it?

@Les4 - Go into the Phone System Management menu (left hand side) and make sure your account is actually assigned the calling plan. You can assign the phone in the User Management, but you have to assign the calling plan to dial out.
Also, while you are there, click on your user name and it will allow you to edit the extension. You cannot remove the extension, but you can change it to something different.
