Zoom SMS in HubSpot

Up until a few minutes ago, I was able to paste an email in to Zoom SMS and a drop down with the phone number came up. It is no longer doing that, and I really need it to. Any advice?

Is there a way to disable the Zoom Workplace app from audibly ringing when it is connected to a desk phone using call control? We've recently started using Zoom phone, and several users have said it's annoying hearing the Zoom ringtone as well as the desk phone ring tone. 

 

Is there a way to do this, or any alternative solutions that could be suggested?

 

We use Yealink T44W handsets if that is useful to know at all.

Call forwarding to answering machine for all lines

My client had a very old PBX system when they can dial *72 followed by the number that is being forwarded. How can I set this up when I can enable call forwarding with one phone for all lines. We are using t54w yealink phones and I see it has the call forwarding feature. When enabling it, it only forwards from that phone and not all phones. Do I need to create a shared group line then this will enable all call forwarding out? I read on a forum that when enabling calling forward the yealink is by default set to all lines. We need to allow my client to set it when ready due to the inconsistent business hours. I cant just set a set time for them. Anybody have dealt with this setup before?

Does anyone else find Zoom Phone just not very good?

We migrated to Zoom phone last year and it's never worked properly. We've had calls going silent both ends, just us going silent but still bale to hear the other caller, and the latest one is that the phone rings and then when we try to answer it say... Show more

We migrated to Zoom phone last year and it's never worked properly. We've had calls going silent both ends, just us going silent but still bale to hear the other caller, and the latest one is that the phone rings and then when we try to answer it says the call has already been answered. We even had one client told by the system to hang up. I invited Zoom support to call me so they could experience the issues for themselves and they just never did, even though they said they did. Eventually they just closed the ticket because I didn't respond over the Christmas break. I'm on the verge of switching to another provider but I would like to know if it's just me.

Seriously struggling with zoom phones

We are a company of 25 staff, many of whom work with clients and need their phones on the go. We switched to zoom phones about 6 months ago and have been struggling intensely. Calls get dropped, missed, audio is inconsistent, voicemail notifications ... Show more

We are a company of 25 staff, many of whom work with clients and need their phones on the go. We switched to zoom phones about 6 months ago and have been struggling intensely. Calls get dropped, missed, audio is inconsistent, voicemail notifications with a major delay until they actually appear... We've dug deep into the settings and a few things have helped, but nothing has solved the issue. The only thing that seems to potentially explain it is that we need very strong Internet connection to use the phones, it can't rely on phone data. We aren't receiving error messages, just extremely poor performance. I'm wondering if zoom phones are good for people who are primarily desk bound? Customer support comes back with the same auto responses with every ticket: send a screenshot. The issue that we can't screenshot what's not happening or capture the poor performance. Are others having these issues? Thank you.

One internal user cannot SMS text a specific phone numbers, others in account can.

Individual affected has correct licensing (Person A). Was texting the phone number in question (person B) throughout the day, then suddenly messages stopped going through. When Person A messages other numbers, they work. When other users in our org t... Show more

Individual affected has correct licensing (Person A). Was texting the phone number in question (person B) throughout the day, then suddenly messages stopped going through. 

 

When Person A messages other numbers, they work. When other users in our org text Person B, it works. It's only SMS messaging between (to/from) Persons A & B that are not working. This happened suddenly and with no change in the system, licensing, etc. 

 

Person B checked to make sure they didn't block A's number & vice versa - they haven't.

 

Has anyone dealt with this?

Hi,

 

I'm new to Zoom.  The system assigned me an extension number which I do not need as I am a small business owner and I am the only one that will be using the telephone number.  I want people to be able to call me directly on the number assigned without them having to enter an extension number.  How do I fix this?  I've looked at other posts but was unable to get it working properly.  Thank you!
