bulk assign phone numbers to users in 1 step by name

Is there a way to bulk assign phone numbers to users in a single spreadsheet? I know have to first import users using a CSV, assign them licensing and build the account. During this process Zoom will auto assign them an extension. Now how to I find t... Show more

Is there a way to bulk assign phone numbers to users in a single spreadsheet? 

I know have to first import users using a CSV, assign them licensing and build the account. During this process Zoom will auto assign them an extension.

 

Now how to I find these new 100 users that don't have phone numbers?

 

I will need to export them, then put their extension into the "phone number import CSV" that will assign a phone# of my selection to a specific user's extension. 

 

Seems like lots of steps for a product that uses CSV's for import. can't believe there isn't a single template to do this. 

 

would it be faster to create a site called Import-Temp assign all users to that site, then filter them, export/import them as needed then re-assign them to the master correct site?

if updating existing users, they mention the following req:

  • Do not delete the first row with the field names.
  • For the Phone Number field, make sure the phone number contains the following (don't use spaces or dashes):
    1. Plus sign (+)
    2. Country code
    3. Area code
    4. Phone number

===

The  user_template CSV when exported doesn't have any of the above in its fields (no plus, ctry code). 

 

Also, I have exported unassigned numbers CSV, that CSV puts 3 spaces into each number.  I have copied unassigned number from that CSV (including spaces)into the phone number field in the user_template CSV , completed other fields and imported updates with no issues.

 

Seems to me the above requirements of "no spaces" and "country codes is incorrect. 

 

Or am i reading this wrong?

Incoming calls

I am not hearing incoming calls to my mobile. It works find on my PC, just not mobile. Could it be an issue with internet connectivity or something else? The incoming call displays on my mobile screen, just no sound to alert me to the incoming call o... Show more

I am not hearing incoming calls to my mobile. It works find on my PC, just not mobile. Could it be an issue with internet connectivity or something else? The incoming call displays on my mobile screen, just no sound to alert me to the incoming call on my mobile. If I ring my mobile from another mobile it rings with sound.

We just went live with the Zoom phone system. 

I love the back end, very intuitive and easy to use. My users are complaining about the desktop incoming call notifications that cannot be turned off. Is there an easy way to toggle the desktop notifications off and on and the mobile call notifications off and on? 

 

My users are all in call que's that simultaneously ring, when they are typing something and a call comes to the que it takes the typing focus away, so they have to stop. They have physical phones on their desk so they can sign out of the app but then they lose some of the functionality of having it. 

 

Another feature that would be great is to be able to choose what call ques ring your mobile device. My users are not using it because both the call Que's and their own calls go to it and you cannot turn off the call que without turning it off on your desktop phone as well.

softclient: assistant being heard while putting people into audio conference.

have an end user reporting when going into audio conference, caller on phone can hear the assistant. hitting mute, then unmute sometimes works.  

 

anybody had this complaint before? Sorry that is all the detail I have for now.

Issue with call queue not ringing simultaneously to all users - missing calls

Hey all - appreciate any thoughts in advance. I have had this issue multiple times. We are a small 4 license account that all of us are setup to ring in the support queue simultaneously. I've attached screenshots showing an issue today where the call came in to Service and rings on one line but not the other. 2 of the 4 of us got the call. Is there a setting I am missing because this looks correct.  Four files showing 1) Our settings on the Service queue 2) all 4 of us in the queue 3) Jeremy getting the 10:36AM call for service from Flint, MI and 4) Joy not getting the 10:36AM call for service from Flint.  

 

Has anyone else experienced this?

Can't Find option to start brand campaign for SMS

Hi there,

I can't find the "SMS Campaigns" button under the "Advanced" setting as the zoom admin.

See screenshot.

Does anyone know if that means our business is not required to register? I wouldn't imagine so but just wondering.

Dialing 311 - City services

Hello

Our phones in San Jose, when dial 311 it sends us to the Milpitas City Hall services information. Is there any reason its not going to the San Jose services?
