Hello,

 

Currently, we have applications that can send SMS texts to cell phone numbers with common carriers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.   How can I send an SMS text to a Zoom number?  I have an On-Call Zoom phone number that I use external contacts so the calls/messages are forwarded and must change the forwarding to a number each week depending on who is On-Call.  I would like to send an SMS text from the application to the Zoom phone so it is a one-time setup in the application.  Otherwise, I must change the application to send it to the on-call personal number every week.  Please let me know and thanks so much.

We have a third party answering service. At 9 PM we forward calls to a phone number (a zoom line) that the answering service has configured. How should I configure this particular line? I had it set as an auto receptionist, but when we tested this it went to the IVR recording and then to voicemail.

Inbound calls are being blocked but they are not on the blocked list.

Hello everyone,

 

I'm a relatively new Zoom Phone user.  I'm three weeks in and, all of a sudden, I'm getting reports from clients (and more importantly prospects) that their inbound calls are going directly to an automated generic message.

I don't see these calls on my call history nor do I receive the voicemails, which is business critical.

 

The behaviour is exactly what is described for blocked calls.

 

I've reviewed my Call Handling and Block List thoroughly and can't identify any issue there that might be creating the problem.  See attached screenshots.

 

When I test the line from my personal phone, it connects normally.  When I call from my different cell, it goes straight to the generic message without showing on my call list and I do not receive the VM.

 

I've submitted two tickets but but Support has not be helpful thus far.

I have a problem about setting my phone number at zoom app.

I want to set my phone number at zoom app.

(I could set my cell phone number on computer zoom)

My phone model is iPhone mini 12.

I've done everything I can.

But it didn't get better, so I left the ZOOM account once and re-joined.

Please help me ,,😢

I entered my personal contact number except for the first digit 0.

After that, I entered the text in the security check order.

As a result, I received a message "Phone number registration failed. Please try again.".

And I even tried entering the sound code next to the security code.

But the result was the same. "Phone number registration failed. Please try again."

Phone numbers

Where do we find the phone numbers that people can use to dial in to Zoom meetings? Zoom used to provide those in the meeting link, but they don't any more.

Resolved! Number Port from ATT to Zoom Phone - Questions

We recently ported a line from ATT to Zoom Phone. We are using the same iPhone that was used when the line was connected to ATT. On iPhone under settings -> cellular, I turn off the line under the ATT settings, I get an SOS symbol where it had originally said ATT. Does this mean that Zoom Phone is only going to work on a mobile device when connected to wifi?

Hey everyone, 

 

I'm in the middle of a Zoom Phone POC and trying to find a way to give managers in the company access to view the User Performance Reports for members of their team. I've given my test user the phone power pack and now they can see the report but its restricted to only theirself. I as admin can filter by user or dept.

 

Surely there must be a permission in roles or somewhere that allows the user to see others reports.

Anyone else run into this? Surely someone's manager wants to see their teams stats without giving full admin

I just purchased the Zoom phone system for unlimited calls to US & Canada 15$/month

And received a confirmation from Zoom for my purchase.

 

But when I try to assign my license to my account and set up the phone system, it appears that I have a basic Zoom plan! How do I activate my phone system?

Phone adaptor is turning off most of the time

Our phone ATA Adaptors are turning off all the time and we cannot use the phone lines.

Resolved! "Sync Buttons" stopped working with Jabra headset / Jabra Link 370

I am using a Jabra Link 370 Bluetooth adapter with a Jabra Elite 75t earbuds.  Up until a few weeks ago, tapping the left earbud muted not just the headset, but toggled mute within Zoom itself.  After a Zoom upgrade and an upgrade to the Jabra Direct software, it has stopped working consistently.   That is, most of the time it does NOT sync the button action.  Note that the syncing of button action is working in Skype for Business and MS Teams.

 

Details:

  • Current Zoom version is 5.9.6 (3799)
  • Current Jabra Direct version is 5.11.01302
  • Jabra Link 370 firmware is 1.87.0  (this is the 370 UC version)
  • Jabra Elite 75t firmware is 2.0.0
  • "Sync buttons on headset" is checked within the Zoom Audio Settings
  • In a call, tapping the left earbud button will mute the earbuds, but the mute is not reflected in Zoom. 
  • Over the past few weeks it has worked intermittently, but I have been unable to reproduce.
  • I uninstalled the Jabra Direct app, with no changes in the above.
  • I also moved tried using the headset and Link 370 on a different computer and it worked correctly.
