I have a recurring meeting scheduled through outlook that has a zoom link. I need to edit the invitees to the meeting but cannot. When I try to change the meeting guests, a pop-up occurs saying "You are not the host of the meeting". I signed into the zoom meeting and under my profile, it says: host, me. So it does appear there is someone else identified as the host even though I set up the meeting originally. Now I cannot even cancel or change the Outlook meeting because it says I'm not the host. I'm stuck in a repeating loop with the error message. 

I'm working on a Dell computer using Microsoft 365 for business Outlook Version 2401 (?). I'm using a paid version of zoom through my company. 

I've read through the other posts and online content but don't see this issue addressed.

Hi, I just tried to pass on host to another at the start of the meeting.  When I hover over participants name and click on MORE it only gives me the option of PIN and CHAT.  The Co-Host tab is switched on in settings and had no problems in a previous meeting. What am I missing ?

Can not start zoom app

I can not start the zoom app. 

I click on the app and it just do nothing. 

I have windows 11. 

I restarted my PC. I reinstalled zoom. It just does not open

Hi, We use Zoom in our church and record our services. On a Sunday, we almost never have any problems, and the resulting video is 1920 x 1080; however, whenever I record a wedding or funeral, the resulting file always seems to be awful (640 x 360?). ... Show more

We use Zoom in our church and record our services.

 

On a Sunday, we almost never have any problems, and the resulting video is 1920 x 1080; however, whenever I record a wedding or funeral, the resulting file always seems to be awful (640 x 360?).

 

The differences seem to be:

Sunday services: more people on Zoom, an additional laptop being used in church to handle the PowerPoint which is also connected to Zoom (though no idea why this would have an effect).

Other services: few people on Zoom, no additional laptop.

 

Other potential issues: we are using mobile broadband in church, but it seems too much of a coincidence that we have poor broadband on those 'Other services' days.

 

Any ideas what could be causing the problem?

After the latest upgrade has been installed on my computer zoom is not launching anymore!

There is no error message, there is nothing. (Why cannot get any error message if an error happened?)

 

I cannot launch the main application, and i cannot join to any meetings.

When I click the zoom application, it is simply does not doing anything.

I tried to start from console. Same. Nothing. Not even an error message.

 

OS: Ubuntu 18.04.6

Zoom version: 5.17.5 (2543)

 

I checked out that all necessary libs are currently installed on my computers.

This error affects ALL of my computers.

 

What can I do to make zoom work again?

 

Desired work:

When I click on zoom icon the main window should be displayed.

When I want to join to a meeting, I must able to do that.

When any error happening I must able to see error message (in terminal or in a separate log file)

Hello, I am trying to register my mobile phone number in my profile, using the URL  https://zoom.us/profile.

The full number itself is already registered as the 2FA method.

Registering it as 2FA number five, ten minutes ago went without a hitch.

This time, though, when I enter the Zoom-Code, I get a message that the phone number could not be verified.

I have tried both version of number notation, and even got Codes using either method for the international phone number format, delivered to my mobile – but those always result in a not verified message. What can I do?

We have an educational program we are doing for over a year.  It would be very useful when some of our faculty, coming in to help with questions, could cause an alert to let the speaker know they are there. Can we set it so that when certain people log in, that we are notified? Would be helpful because sometimes we don't know they are there.

Hello!

 

I just bought a new M2 Mac mini base model and one of its primary uses is as a videoconferencing machine to be used 3-5 hours a day. I have been having a ridiculous amount of issues and I am looking for ideas. I am using it with a Logitech Brio webcam on a tripod with no usb extension cable and the mini is hooked up to a 65" 4k tv over HDMI 2.0. This is what I am experiencing:

 

1. Audio will work for a while but eventually when I am unmuted all everyone else hears is a loop of echo noises. When I am muted and I open up audio preferences I can see the mic levels jumping wildly. I can use the iPhone a a mic and that seems more stable although sometimes it loses the connection. I tried using AirPod Pros as the mic and zoom immediately crashed.

 

2. Video is usually ok but will my video will freeze at some point in the conference. Audio still works and I can see video / screen sharing of the other participants.

 

3. Sometimes I see a spinning beachball and the zoom app becomes unresponsive. If I am lucky I can get through most of the rest of the zoom conference seeing and hearing participants and seeing screen shares. Eventually the entire app locks up.

 

In an effort to troubleshoot, I have completely wiped the Mac mini and reinstalled the latest os: 13.2 (22D49). I have a minimal software installation including 1password and the webcam settings app. no other non apple software is installed on this system. I have the default camera and mic set to the brio webcam and the default speaker set too "same as system" which is the tv.

 

Has anyone else been running into issues like this? Zoom works fine on my other devices (M1 Studio, iPad Pro, iPhone) and everything else I've tried on this Mac mini (before wiping to a minimal installation) works great. I can only assume that these problems are between the current version of the zoom app and the hardware or os of the new m2 Mac mini. I am running zoom 5.13.6 (14918).
