I apologize if I'm asking a question that's been answered elsewhere, but I'm having a problem with dual-monitor use, and the only solution I've seen on these boards is for a Mac & a Mission Control setting. I'm on a Dell laptop, sometimes in laptop + one monitor config, sometimes laptop closed & connected to a dock with 2 monitors. However this problem is new (and applies) to both setups. FWIW I was recently upgraded to Windows 11 on the same laptop.

 

I have traditionally kept the Use Dual Monitors unchecked, which meant I did all relevant Zoom work on my left monitor (full maximized so I could see the gallery, my participant list, chat, all in one window). When I would share something, Screen 2 (on my right) would be an option, and I would share that one. It would leave my Zoom meeting completely untouched. I did this for years.

 

Now, if Dual Monitor is unchecked, it treats my left screen as if it was a standalone laptop (so sharing my screen reduces my participants to a filmstrip), and if is checked, I have a giant floating image of whoever is speaking on my right, and when I share something, my left screen reconfigures to a different layout.

 

I'm sure this is a setting or configuration issue, but I can't find it. Has something changed in Zoom lately? Has anyone stumbled across this as well?

I have encountered the following problem when integrating Zoom into the Canvas platform. I was wondering if any of you have encountered something similar.

I am using Open source Canvas LMS and I have a paid Zoom Pro plan for one person. I have tried the integration with Zoom LTI Pro version 1.3.

I have tried several times to retry the integration following Zoom's instructions but I have not been able to remove the error.

 

Error code in Canvas:  500 - v=2.0;clid=aw1;rid=INT_fe763ae657fad2d7

We have to organise a webinar in which a speaker (external business consultancy) shows a report to attendees. The speaker should be able to be on video and should be able to share material, while the attendees:
1) shouldn't be able interact with the speaker
and
2) shouldn't be able to see who else is connected

 

There will be less than 500 attendees so we can't buy the Zoom Webinars subscription.

As an alternative, we are considering to buy the Zoom Session subscription. We have two questions:

 

1) Does the Zoom Session subscription guarantee the 2 criteria above?

and

2) Is it possible to buy the Zoom Session subscription just for one month?

Many registrants came in with the same name

I have no idea how this happened, but about 25% of the registrants joined with the same name--one of the other registrant's name. So even though I only invited one "Joe Smith," about 25 joiners' name defaulted at "Joe Smith." Can anyone help me with ... Show more

I have no idea how this happened, but about 25% of the registrants joined with the same name--one of the other registrant's name.  So even though I only invited one "Joe Smith," about 25 joiners' name defaulted at "Joe Smith."  Can anyone help me with how this might have happened?  Joe Smith was not a co-host or anything.  Just another registrant.

For some months now, when I want to share my screen, I can no longer select in advance which of the two monitors (the one on the laptop or the external monitor) should be shared. The laptop screen is always shared immediately. I can only change the screen afterwards once sharing is already running. Is it possible to set the system to ask in advance which screen should be shared? My colleagues do not have this problem. Thank you very much!

I am very new so please kindly help: I have Apple Vision Pro, rumble account and streamYard account and I am live streaming to rumble from my AVP through streamYard. My main problem is streamYard is not supporting AVP. So I cannot share my screen during my livestream and I have to go to rumble account page because I cannot paste the invite link to streamYard chat box. I also cannot use my AVP persona as full body and use my arms and legs for various actions. Please kindly help.

Hello I am hosting video on zoom and each time I share the recording through the parameters "only allowed people/email address specified can watch". But I have some people that have been complaining they cannot watch the recording . here is the message they receive when they try to watch it :" the video was interrupted dur to a corruption issue or because the video uses features not supported by your browser".

But in fact , the video recording is not corrupted because it does work for most of the group.

And someone told me  after receiving the message he tried to switch browser to watch the video but did not work either. What must be done to watch the video recording?

Please tell me how to disable Voice Isolation.

This has never happened before.
The sound quality of the video has deteriorated a lot.

Bonjour, 

Nous avons un problème avec Zoom depuis quelques jours, je ne sais pas si vous avez le même mais si vous l'avez et que vous pouvez m'éclairer, je serai ravie 😉 

Depuis quelques jours, l'application se met à bugger dès qu'un participant entre dans la réunion ou que nous partageons un document. Ce problème se manifeste par un freeze de l'application, ou alors elle ne répond plus, puis nous sommes éjectés de notre propre réunion et nous y revenons dans les 3 secondes. 

Je précise que nous sommes sous Windows 11, que l'application est à jour et que l'ordinateur est branché au réseau filaire (pas au Wifi). Cela n'est donc pas un problème réseau. Reste 2 options : l'ordinateur ou l'application. 

Merci de me dire si vous avez trouvé une solution 😉
