We recently had an issue with a host joining a Zoom meeting. Our administrator scheduled a meeting and assigned a host. This meeting required registration. When the host attempted to join the meeting the registration form opened up.  After completing the registration form, the individual was informed that they could not join because they were the host. They attempted to sign out of Zoom and rejoin but had no success. Fortunately, another individual with host privileges was able to join and sent an invite link directly from within the meeting, which allowed the host to access the meeting. Any thoughts on why this occurred and what can be done to prevent this? I appreciate your help!

I cannot initiate a zoom session, I get a msg stating I need to upgrade to 5.14.5.

I am not able to install the zoom upgrade. It quits after not accepting my PW. I used this PW to upgrade my MBP with the same OS last week. I tried it now and it works on the MBP.  The PW is in the cloud w/Keychain and has not been changed.

I do not see a support Board for this type of issue and any help would be appreciated

I am not sure how to work around this.

I previously hosted fitness classes for a corporate client's employees. The informed consent that participants had to accept to join mentioned both me and the corporate employer. I now am working with private clients and want to change the wording to that disclaimer. Can anyone tell me how to do that? I tried going to meetings and scrolled down to disclaimers. That toggle looks locked and inaccessible. I wasn't sure how else to accomplish this. It was my personal pro account that was used for the corporate work and now with my private work, so my former employer was never an administrator of the account.

Resolved! I have no chat icon on my zoom screen

I went into settings and added chat for host and co host only. I opened my recurring meetings and there was still no chat icon.  Also I only want the chat function for one meeting.  the rest should not have chat as an option,  ideas?

Resolved! Waiting Room.

I thought I had the waiting room turned off for my meetings. But it seems like people need me in order to start a meeting. How do I take that off so someone can start a meeting without me if I am running late? Do I always have to enable a co-host?

Zoom plan

I presently have a plan that only allows for 1/2 meetings.  What is the cost to increase that to 1 hour meetings?

Hello,

Does somebody know which would be the best set of specifications to consider for a 12th or 13th gen Intel processor for a laptop that must be able to host and stream Zoom meeting for 10-30 people without lag and with high framerate (given reliable and low latency consistent internet connection)

For example, would more performance cores be better or efficiency ones ?

Would you say that the internal GPU plays a significant role?

Does somebody know deeply the requirements for audio-video streaming in such a way that i can choose the better CPU for my necessity?

The idea is that i want to save money as much as i can, i know that i could just throw 1500 bucks or more at a laptop and be safe, but I'd like to spend less, as higher end laptop also have other things i do not need

One road i tried to follow, but i need help to go further down the line, is to look at the hardware specification for Mini PCs certified to work with Zoom, for example i found this mini PC, that mounts either a Core i7-12700T or a Core i5-12500T (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_5869340-5869384-16)

I understand those are Desktop CPUs and that those PCs will run a specific windows install optimized for a special version of Zoom... but how special is that ACTUALLY?

Couldn't there be a laptop CPU that performs closely?

Are you aware of it?

P.S
I tried to look at Zooms tech requirements but they seem to be tailored towards people that speak to each other and don't care to be seen by everybody at the highest quality possible. so the specs in that case are very low and thus not true.
As soon as you need to be a little more professional look they throw at you mini PCs with desktop CPUs, or 1800 dollars laptops.

But i'm sure that with the correct knowledge you can find the right CPU.

Thank you!

I am in the process of enabling extended protection on my on-prem hybrid   exchange 2019 servers. My users and calendars are in exchange online.  We use ADsync.   We   use Zoom for our meetings.  I have seen reports of Zoom calendar integration and extended protection problems.  Is there an issue with the integration and extended protection?  If needed, what exception should I make on the exchange server when enabling extended protection?  Thanks.
