Today when I started a fitness class and joined computer audio the music became distorted. I had the singer's voice but none of the actual music. If I left computer audio it was fine. I checked starting a different class, I tried all of the optional settings in the audio options, I checked my computer settings. I also updated devices, Zoom, my computer, I uninstalled Zoom twice, and rebooted my computer a couple of times. I used different speakers and different audio cables. I don't know what else to do. I'm not certain when this happened because I was out all last week. I need the hive mind to work for me, please!

MY windows 10 Home had v5.16 (or close to it --- you can view my one and only other post on this). I have avoided updating ZOOM because the last time it caused a great deal of problems. So, today I was going to use it for a work meeting and it forced me to update to the latest (6.16 I believe). Aft4er the download it fails to launch.

 

I launce zoom through a chrome browser. I have a shortcut with the correct link (have been using it for a year+). After this update I can't get it to launch. There is no ZOOM windows opening. Nothing at all happens. It isn't a firewall or antivirus issue because I've been using the same thing for 3+ years with no issue.

 

I have tried uninstalling (and using the cleaner app) and reinstalling previous version, which worked the last time this happened.

 

Is there any ideas, help, suggestions, magic, wishing upon the stars, to get this program to open as it should?

Resolved! Limit 40 minutes on Pro account

My account is Professional and yet my meetings are being limited to 40 minutes.
I need this adjusted, please!

Pink dots on videocalls

Pink dots appear on the screen when the other person enters my meeting. I tried to rebut the laptop, uninstall zoom, run a virus scan. The camera works perfectly with Facebook. It used to work fine with zoom up to recently. Laptop is Asus Windows 8.1... Show more

I keep having to go into my settings and turn off live streaming for each meeting, but each meeting still streams live. I don't want live streaming. Why won't the setting save (though it initially appears to, but then does not)? How do I just permane... Show more

My use of Zoom is as a group meeting with occasional individual meetings with attendees. The number of attendees is less than 10. The meetings are set up as recurring meetings. I do not need to use the break out rooms at each meeting, or with each person. Can the breakout rooms be used one at a time? I have set up break out rooms for each person for all meetings, but don't know if I can meet individually, one at a time. Is this possible? Thanks.
