Hi guys! I've been having an isssue with Zoom on Windows 11. It only starts just after the install but once i exit it, it never wants to start again. I tried everything, running it as an administrator, various fixes i found on the internet but nothing seems to make it work. Also i found out, that it works perfectly fine on the administrator account on the same computer. The only way to use it is to uninstall and reinstall it every time i need it, which is getting kinda annoying. Hope someone had a similar problem and knows how to fix it 🙂

Sound not working since zoom update

Since the update to workspace, now when I'm on a zoom call and there is music being played by the host, zoom muffles the sound completely, however I can hear voices when poeple speak. Also strange when I do test my speaker once joined the zoom call -... Show more

Since the update to workspace, now when I'm on a zoom call and there is music being played by the host, zoom muffles the sound completely, however I can hear voices when poeple speak. Also strange when I do test my speaker once joined the zoom call - the sound is just almost a 'thud' or plays half the little zoom ring tone then almost completely mutes it.

 

I've tried using speakers, headphones and trying all the audio settings on zoom with all the different noise cancellation settings to no avail. 

 

It seems to be a zoom problem, I have no issues listening to any music etc on any program on my computer.

 

Any ideas?

I need to see a record of meetings that were hosted by my account -- specifically the date and length of the meetings. Everything I've read says to go to Meetings and click on Previous. When I do that it says "The user does not have any previous meetings." That is incorrect as I have dozens of meeting a week.

 

Zoom's recent update has made it harder to create recurring meetings. This seems like an effort to force users into using Zoom's calendar function. So my guess is that the Previous Meetings tab is only showing data for fixed meetings. However, fixed meetings do not fit my business needs, as I have meetings with certain parties at flexible times. How can I view a record of meeting history?

A recent update changed the fullscreen mode. I usually pin one person and make them fullscreen and they would take up the entire screen. Now, I get the controls at the bottom that stay there, so it isn't true fullscreen. I record through OBS and I would rather not crop, is there a solution to this? See before and after photos.

save chat from meetings

I am running Version: 5.17.11 (31580). I used to be able to go to MORE and SAVE the chat manually. Now there is NO LONGER a SAVE under MORE. What happenned?I would also like to have an AUTO-SAVE the chat for me, the client.Also, I want to add comment... Show more

I am running Version: 5.17.11 (31580).  I used to be able to go to MORE and SAVE the chat manually.  Now there is NO LONGER a SAVE under MORE.  What happenned?

I would also like to have an AUTO-SAVE the chat for me, the client.

Also, I want to add comments to the CHAT stream without it being sent anywhere in order to add my own explanation of what the HOST is putting in the CHAT.

iPad app chat no longer stays open on side

Hi! I use zoom for my language class online. A great feature was that I could keep the chat open on the side, which the teacher uses to write sentences down, while also still seeing the face of the teacher. Now, with the latest update (version 6.1.0), I can no longer keep the chat on the side. Instead, the chat window opens in front of everyone’s faces, blocking their view. I have to dismiss the chat in order to see the teacher and my classmates. I am really not happy with this update.

 

Also, when I use stage manager, if the presenter is sharing their screen, at any window size that isn’t full screen, it hides the view of the group/teacher. I also can not choose to manually zoom in to see the content on the screen anymore if the text is tiny.

 

It really feels like the latest update has bricked a lot of the experience for iPad users, and I am wondering if others feel the same. I would like these features that were native in the old version to be restored so that Zoom can remain an excellent teaching tool.

How to change to gallery view on automatic recording?

I have recurring meetings set up to record to the cloud.  That is working well, but it is always recording the active speaker view and that is not always the prettiest. 

 

Could someone tell me how to change to gallery view on these meetings that are automatically recorded to cloud?

I really hope someone can help me!
I have been having audio problems on zoom, although I use maximum volume the audio is still really quiet.
Having tried what I feel is everything suggested I upgraded to the latest version of zoom 'Zoom Workplace'  and it is worse!  The audio is now clipped and I can hear nothing clearly.  Zoom participants can hear me fine.
I'd be really grateful for some help.  Thank you.

Zoom continually restarts after upgrade

This morning, I updated to V6.1.6 (on Windows machine running current version of Windows). After about 20 minutes, Zoom started continuously restarting with an uptime of around 30 seconds. Switched the host to another machine connected to the same ro... Show more

This morning, I updated to V6.1.6 (on Windows machine running current version of Windows). After about 20 minutes, Zoom started continuously restarting with an uptime of around 30 seconds. Switched the host to another machine connected to the same router but not updated, and the connection was stable, with no latency during a 10 minute conversation. While the restarts were happening, other participants on machines that had not been updated continued as normal. 
After that meeting, I started the client to do some testing, noticed that both the Join and Share buttons were greyed out. Another other reports of issues with this upgrade, please? Restarting Windows to see if there is anything there that might be causing this.
