I use zoom for my church service.  If I play music through the sound system, the people in the meeting cannot hear it.  If I share my screen with my IPad, whatever is being played through the IPad cannot be heard either.

Is there a fix for this?

We're facing an issue with our Zoom Marketplace app related to the OAuth flow. The app is approved and we have a redirect URI configured as beta.xyz.com. Recently, we set up a microservice to handle OAuth at a central location, and the new redirect URI is api.oauth.xyz.com/auth/zoom/callback.

We also manage different environments for our clients, so their respective redirect URIs would look like client.api.oauth.xyz.com/auth/zoom/callback. We added these to the allowlist in development mode, which automatically added them to the production allowlist, but the app is still not working for our customers.

I've read that if we add the root domain xyz.com, all subdomains should work for the OAuth redirect, especially since we're using Passport.js, which creates the redirect URI in  request body based on client environments. My question is, will this approach work without needing to add each client's redirect URI to the allowlist?

Hello!

Last week, I was very busy with back-to-school and Zoom gave me SO many issues that are still not resolved and I cannot get any help from Zoom Customer Support. I can't reach anyone. I am logged in but it says it cannot connect me because I'm not logged in.

First issue, I needed someone to take over one of my meetings so that I could do another one, I have Zoom Workplace PRO. So I added them to my account, paid for their license, and added them as an alternative host, all on my account. That user started the meeting under their account. Then an hour later I went to start another meeting on my account but instead of starting the new scheduled meeting that I needed to start, Zoom kept launching the meeting my partner was currently hosting using his license. Desperate for a solution, I had someone else sign up for Zoom using their email and my business debit card so I could quickly send out a link on that account to start the new meeting - so adding my partner on my account ended up being a pointless waste of money.

Then for two other meeting scheduled last week the links set up and copied and emailed out to everyone who were to attend were not directing them to the correct meeting. It was sending them to the waiting room to the first meeting scheduled last week on both occasions. I double checked the meeting ID's and the emails that were sent out for both and they were correct. So we (the hosts) had to leave the correct meeting on the schedule and go into previous meetings are let everyone join there. It was such a mess. And of course any attempt to reach Zoom support was futile. I had 6 meetings set up last week and half did not work correctly.

Now I am trying to pull the reports from the meetings (users and chats) for the meetings my partner held on my behalf and it is not showing me those even though he is a user on my account. Is this not possible?

I have been using Zoom since the pandemic hit and very heavily for the first two years. Last week was the hardest and worst experience using Zoom.

If someone can tell me how I can avoid issues with Zoom sending participants to the wrong meeting - I would be grateful. This is a new one for me. If someone can tell me how to pull the reports for the meeting my partner held on my account, I would appreciate that very much too.

"Meeting info / details" icon no longer available after latest update

Hi everybody

I am using the updated Zoom app with its new look in the interface, very nice, but...

Before the update, when I was hosting a meeting, there was always an icon in the top left hand corner of my video screen, which said "meeting info" or "meeting details" or something like that. Clicking on it would show the name of the meeting and also allow me to invite people to join.

But after the latest update of the app (I am using Windows 11) this icon seems to have disappeared, and I simply have the words "Zoom workplace" instead.

Does anyone know how to get this top left hand corner info icon back? It was very useful!

Thanks

John

What are the specific steps to do so.

Do I have to redo this for every Zoom meeting I run, even if the same person is tha laternate host?

Is there a fee for such [and is it a one-time fee or must it be paid every time I run a Zoom meeting]?

Removing control icons

Hey, does anybody know how to customize/remove the icons for the controls at the bottom of the screen? Not all of them. I'd just like to remove the ones I don't use, so that I can make my screen smaller & still see the controls that I actually use. Show more
