Attendance Report setting moodle

Hi there. I see that there is an attendance report setting in Zoom for Canvas that allows grades to flow directly into the gradebook. Is there something similar for moodle, or do I need to export the attendance report and upload it to moodle.

Zoom meetings created via Outlook not keeping Waiting Room

Added a Zoom meetings. 

In the Zoom Meeting the Waiting Room was enabled. 

However folks were able to come straight into the meeting and were not put in a waiting room.

These were folks directly invited to the meeting via Outlook.

 

Any idea why the Waiting Room is not working?

Distorted audio on recordings

When I make a live music recording in a Zoom meeting, the audio is severely distorted, with what I can only describe as a "whooshing" effect.  I have a good quality feed into my Windows PC front or rear panel microphone input.  The problem occurs even on a Zoom "meeting" when I'm not connected to anyone, just making a local recording.   So it has to be something in my PC.  I've tried various settings in my music source, but there is very little change in the recording.  It is still unusable.

 

Does anyone recognize this problem?  Better yet, is there some sort of document or user group that can show me recommended audio setup for a Windows 10 PC?  I am using the free Zoom software, but I would be willing to subscribe if necessary to solve this problem.

Update ruined what was working perfectly for the past year.

Running Linux Ubuntu. When getting into room last night, I was presented with updating to 6.1.1.443. Unfortunately, I did update. First problem was that I could not see my background. Others could see it, but not me. Oh well....not a biggie. But at a... Show more

Running Linux Ubuntu.  When getting into room last night, I was presented with updating to 6.1.1.443.  Unfortunately, I did update.  First problem was that I could not see my background.  Others could see it, but not me.  Oh well....not a biggie.  But at about one hour, I was locked up.....nothing worked.  I rebooted using power button.  Tried to access room again, but wouldn't work.

 

I tried reinstalling the update, still no good.  I then uninstalled Zoom completely and reinstalled.  This did allow me into the room, but the others could not see me or hear me.  Rebooted machine.  Logged back in.....got in this time and everything seemed to be OK, but I moved my hand in front of the camera and I was instantly blurred.....blurred to me and to everyone else.  My background was still clear, but I was blurred.

 

None of this ever happened before the update.

 

Ryzen 9 7900, 32 gig RAM, RTX 3080.
