Firefly.ai tries to access my Zoomroom and is not authorised to do so. This is annoying. I have reported it several times, but nothing much seems to be done with it. I am worried about the overall access of these sort of 3rd party apps.

For the life of me, I can't seem to get the right image size for a Zoom background. From what I've read, the recommended pixel size is 1920X1080. My photo app says the image I'm uploading for a background is 1920x1080, but when I set it for my background, I end up with black bars on the right & left sizes which the help files says indicates "wrong size". Any suggestions welcome. I've uploaded the desired background photo in png format (have tried JPG too which behaves the same way) and also a screen grab of what the background looks like with it's black bars. Any/all suggestions appreciated. Platform I'm on is a windows 10 PC, no green screen if that makes any difference. I've got the most recent Zoom client version, too.

I have a Dell Inspiron 24 5415 AIO with a Realtek audio device.  The computer came with the MaxxAudioPro app installed as well.  I have two weekly calls.  One which is a discussion and one which is a musical performance.  During the discussion call, I have no problems.  During the musical performances, I constantly have problems.  It works until the volume from the source gets loud (musical instruments, loud voices, etc.).

 

I have found online a suggestion of uninstalling the Realtek audio driver.  When I do this, no sound works on the entire computer.  I can listen to even louder audio from other sources (e.g. a YouTube video) without issue.  I assume this is going to be some sort of interoperability issue between Zoom and my audio device, perhaps related to compression?  I have gone through some more of the obvious troubleshooting steps (Windows updates, driver updates, Zoom update, etc.) with no effect.

 

Changing the output format in Windows sound properties from 24 bit, 44800hz to 24 bit, 44100hz, or vice-versa.  This fixes it, but only temporarily.  Next week the same problem happens again.  It also does not seem to matter which setting I use.  It will be broken with either, and switching to the other fixes it.  When I make the change while on a call, Zoom will say "Failed to detect your speaker.  Please make sure your speaker is properly connected."  Then I will click on "Check My Audio Devices" and things start working.  I'm guessing something is being reinitialized here that just so happens to also resolve my issue.

 

I am using Zoom 5.11.11 (8425).

I have two main problems with the new version of Zoom:

1) I cannot find the meeting link ANYWHERE. I need this to share with people, both via sms with a meeting reminder and also when i create zoom events with another application, the attendees need to recieve the zoom link in their registration email and their reminder email.  It just does not seem to be visible anywher with the new, overly simplified version of zoom

2) Email invitation does not work. I invite participants via their email address for a zoom meeting but they never recieve the email. I even sent it to myself and i don't get the email. Again i really need access to the zoom link so i can share with people who are supposed to attend.

3) how on earth are we able to adjust settings in the new version?  

4) list of upcoming meetings is no longer visible. I can only see them in a callender where many other non zoom meeting items are also present, so it is not very helpful to see what zoom meetings i have created and when.

 

i found the button for 'use old version' and i will have to use this for the time being, but i am concerned that this will one day vanish and i will be in a pickle.  

I wonder whether there is some new location on the interface where i can find these things, and some way to fix the problem that my atendees don't recieve an email when they were added to a meeting.  Surely this doesnt happen to everyone?  i use a Mac.

Hi all,

 

We are hosting Zoom on both Windows 10 and Mac mini machines. Recently, Crestron room controllers (Android) in some of the rooms appeared multiple times in the Zoom Rooms in Device Management, some online, and some offline. As a result (that's what we believe) after the host Windows or Mac device restarts these controllers do not automatically get paired with the Zoom rooms.

 

Is it a known issue, what is the solution? If anyone could please shed a light on this 🙂

Has anyone every encountered a situation in which they were signed into a scheduled meeting, and they were unable to activate the mute or video button, but they could communicate via chat? This happened to me today and I lost an opportunity to connect. When I checked my account, I could see that I didn't have some sort of OA2 token, so I updated that. This has only happened one time before. It's a weird, but scary, glitch.

Live Stream - Settings not showing up in a meeting

Hi, I have updated my settings in Zoom for Livestream. I previous had chosen Facebook and wanted to add Youtube and Custom. I update the settings, but it does not appear as an option once I start a meeting. Has someone had and solved this issue?

Admin access not pop up during share screen

Hi,

Recently I have found an issue during the share screen in Zoom. whenever admin access is required in action, I cannot see the windows pop up or fill the admin access. 

Changing A Host

We have a series of meetings set up but do not know who the host is, how can we change the host without changing the meeting series?
