I recorded a meeting to the cloud with captioning on but the software only generated the video and the audio files -- the text transcript was not created!
what happened?
is there any way to extract the captions from the video file?
I have an ASUS VivoBook with a Logi C270 HD WebCam. Sometimes when I try to join a meeting, the WebCam works fine. At other times, the Zoom page just goes into an endless loop and never opens the meeting. In that case, I usually have to close all windows, unplug the camera, restart the computer, and join the meeting without camera. I've tried joining a meeting and then plugging in the camera, and that usually sets off some loop that results in my leaving the meeting. I've check the permissions and security, and it looks OK. I've tested the camera outside of Zoom, and it works OK. I've not been able to detect a pattern of when the camera works on Zoom and when it doesn't. Any suggestions?

Hi, I just completed some very important interviews and recording them to my computer (a mac). When I find the files they are 'documents' and when I double click to convert I receive this message. There is no application set to open the document “double_click_to_convert_01.zoom”. Search the App Store for an application that can open this document or choose an existing application on your computer. My computer was idle for 30 minutes in the middle of the session but I wasn't recording. I have tried to log out and restart my computer as advised by Zoom Facebook help. Any help in retrieving them would be great! Cheers Steph

Hi Zoom Community, I’m looking to understand if there’s an option using the Zoom API to create a meeting and upload a recording to it. For example: Essentially, I’m trying to determine if there’s an API endpoint or functionality that allows upload recordings to be linked to a specific meeting on Zoom, similar to how native recordings are stored in the Zoom Cloud. If this is possible, could you provide guidance or direct me to the relevant API documentation? If not, are there any recommended workarounds or alternative approaches to achieve this use case? Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi, Question 1: how do I add a lower third graphic for both myself and for zoom meeting guests? I want to display my name and title and also want to display the name and title for my guest as separate lower third in the same zoom meeting. Question 2: How can I make the lower third to cover/block our Zoom profile name which also appears on the screen so that only the name/info show in the lower third is the name on screen? Thanks for your help!

I planned a meeting and I pre-assigned 2 interpreters. When the meeting started both the interpreters joined with the account associated with the email adresses I used. I supposed they would be automatically recognized as interpreters, but this didn't happen! So I manually assigned them to be the interpreters in the meeting. If I planned a webinar and I pre-assigned interpreters...they are automatically recognized when they join the webinar! Why the difference between webinar and meeting behavior? I didn't find any information about this difference on Zoom support. Have you ever experienced the same problem? Thank you. Isabella

I am setting up a weekly meeting for an international audience, and anchoring it to a 1am UTC start time. Looking ahead on my calendar I can see that the start time changes from a 1am start time to a 12am UTC start time around the date that other timezones change their clocks by an hour. (This effectively changes the start time by 2 hours instead of the expected 1 hour change on my local calendar.) I don't want the UTC 1am start time to change. I tried anchoring it to 1am GMT but the same problem occurred. This appears to be a glitch on zoom.
Is this a known problem and is there work being done to correct it? (Or am I overlooking something?)

I need to move Zoom meetings and recordings from a user that is no longer with our organization to another user who is still here. The only instructions I can find don't match what I see in my account. When I try chat help or contacting support, I keep getting the message that I am not the account owner but my role shows I am the owner (I have always been the account owner for Zoom) and that I am not logged in, but I am logged in and can see my Admin Dashboard, view users, see plans and billing and all the other account level options. Can someone help with suggestions about reaching support when I keep incorrectly told that I'm not signed in and not the account owner? Can someone help with instructions for moving one user's meetings and recordings to another user and then how to remove that user? Thank you. J

Sorry if in wrong board, can't see one for installation issues. I can find the app in Amazon Apps, but it says incompatible with my system. I'm assuming this is because I have no mic or camera installed on the TV the stick is plugged into. But so what? I only want it on the TV for passive meetings, if I need to interact I'll use the iPad instead. Is there a way around this so I can install onto the Fire Stick?
