I set my zoom background to a solid color (purple) and now I cannot change it back to "none." I can't even find the way I set it to purple in the first place. I only have the option to choose an image, none or blurred. When I choose an image it does update my background but if I go back to "none" it goes back to the purple. I've updated and restarted, deleted the app and re-downloaded.

Any suggestions would be so appreciated.

When I connect an external monitor, the camera does NOT rotate in landscape mode (in the external monitor using DEX). I can turn the device and it might lock for a few moments, however when I interact with the app it reverts back to 90 degrees I've tried all the possible settings in the Galaxy Tab S8 and the Zoom meeting app (Version 6.4.11.30526), without success. It works great on Google Meet without issue. Can you help?

I bought an N100 budget PC recently and was disappointed that Virtual Backgrounds are not enabled for this platform in the latest Zoom Client. The chipset support Intel UHD Graphics and I am running the latest Intel 31.x drivers. The capabilities of the CPU also supercedes the minimum Intel Pentium / Celeron & Core i3-5000 requirements stated in the FAQ about hardware requirements but is disabled for no other reason than the chipset is not reported as being a "Core" series processor. To me this restriction is artificial and says that development has moved away from Virtual Background technology. Despite using Zoom since the start of the pandemic, I see no improvements in the AI around Virtual Background technology and still see "leaks" of the background around the inner rim of the speaker's headset and my kids regularly pop into view in the background. Will Zoom start to support these newer processors or will the company release any beta versions that can be used to test these newer chipsets? The requirements seem unchanged since 2019 and I think it's time to move forward with newer chip platforms. Zoom is an invaluable tool for communication and remote learning, and not everyone wants to spend a fortune to buy an Intel Core platform for what can be done with a lower- cost chipset these days. I hope Zoom will release a Lite client, albiet with less AI or other capabilities or a Beta version so that customers can test and provide feedback on newer platforms without the hard- coded restrictions of chipset names.

Hello

I have a tablet connected to my bluetooth speaker. I can hear any audio from any other app or sound through the browser through the bluetooth speaker with the exception of zoom.   In zoom it is specifically on bluetooth audio output but it always plays on the tablets lousy speaker.  I have gone thru all settings to ensure that zoom is playing through the BT speaker. This suggests that zoom is the problem since all others have no issues with the BT speaker.  Is there any solution to this?

Have already trying wiping the app including any data and cache and reinstalling to no avail.

Hello,

Let's say: John has a Zoom account and organizes Zoom meetings, John asks Dan (the developer) to fetch attendees data from a Zoom meeting ID 123456 and post the data on a website Dan develops. However, John does not want to give Dan the access to his entire account via Sign In or via API. John only wants Dan to have access to a single Zoom meeting.

I understand that I ("Dan") can create a Zoom OAuth App but it seems that it then gives me the access to all John's meetings, which is not what I need.

Could you please guide me to the correct way to fetch attendee data only from a single Zoom meeting from from another person's Zoom account?

Thank you!

I have just recently upgraded to Fedora 42 XFCE and today installed the Linux Zoom client.  Version 6.4.13 (2309) is what I received.  In the past on launching the Zoom client the system audio was nowhere near high enough and I had to go to my audio profile to turn Zoom very loud so I could hear the meetings.  In the past, muting and unmuting caused the system sound to return to the default setting and I had to run it up again.  Today, that was not happening.

However, during the meeting today that I hosted, every time someone entered the waiting room my audio returned to default.  Additionally, every time I admitted someone into the meeting the audio returned to default.  It did so a few other times, too, for instance when one meeting participant (who had joined the meeting by phone) dropped out, likely due to connectivity issues.

Each time the system audio returned to Zoom's default setting I could not hear anything at all and had to rush over to the audio server to crank it up, and return to the Zoom client.  It was maddening, and I missed several key moments in the meeting -- that I was hosting.  Is there anything I can do to rectify this situation?
