I recently have encountered streamed videos hanging while sharing (even without meeting participants).  I'm using Windows 11 (updated w/ 24H2 installed) and Zoom Workplace 6.3.11. The videos display just fine when not sharing. This happens using my laptop display or my UHD TV/monitor. Lenovo app used to check all drivers up to date. Rebooting PC has no impact on problem.  Nothing obvious to me while watching performance in Task Manager and videos hang.

 

I have no problem sharing the same videos using my iPad Mini (6th Generation).

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Audio is repeating words/sounds

I'm having a strange audio issue. I'm in a meeting where one user has a conference microphone in a room, and occasionally, the sound from the room starts repeating. As in, someone from the room will say "oh wow okay", and immediately after other users will hear "oh wow okay" again, identically, coming from the same room. Weirdly, it's not just the audio that's repeating - we're also seeing the repetition in the transcript: "0 wow, okay, oh wow, okay". It happens with incidental noises in the room as well.

 

As far as we can tell, no other users in the meeting are having this problem when they are speaking. We fixed it once for the room by ending and restarting the Zoom meeting, but now after several restarts, we're still getting this repetition. I'm trying not to call it an "echo" because it's not like the feedback loop you'd get from a speaker getting picked up on a mic in the same room - it's sporadic repeats of words and sounds.

 

Has anyone else ever run into this problem? Is there a better solution than turn-it-off-and-back-on-again?

Resolved! Enable Original Sound has disappeared

I have always used the Enable/Disable Original Sound option on the More menu in the iPad app. However, it is no longer present. The More menu has nothing that looks like this. I have found the same on two different Ipads. Has this been removed? I alw... Show more

I have always used the Enable/Disable Original Sound option on the More menu in the iPad app. However, it is no longer present. The More menu has nothing that looks like this. I have found the same on two different Ipads. Has this been removed? I always needed it to deal with music and speech.

Здравствуйте, при выборе микрофона на наушниках не работает конференция в приложении зума и нельзя войти во вкладку звук в настройках. При заходе с браузера или иного микрофона такой проблемы не наблюдается. Как исправить работу с проблемным микрофоном? Простейшие операции по типу перевткнуть устройство или перезагрузить ПК уже выполнялись

I used to be able to supply my small team with a link and they could jump on a call at anytime if I was on zoom. Now I will be on zoom with a team member and another team member attempts to come on my meeting and they do no show in the waiting room.

Is there a setting I can change so I can go back to normal.

I join a meeting each month and this month I asked to share the screen.  We learn that no one is host or has access to the web portal.  The link was provided through my organization but we don't know who the original admin is.  I tried to "Claim Host" and input my 6 digit host key but it was not accepted.  If there any way I can share a presentation?

Hello, 

I am in a redundant cycle of being able to join a meeting. I have tried on multiple browsers, uninstalled the the desktop application, reinstalled, checked for updates, and still unable to join a meeting. I keep getting the "Join a new meeting?" pop-up. 

"You will have to leave this meeting to join the new meeting." 

Option 1: Leave and join         Option 2: Cancel

I always click "Leave and Join" option but it  sends me back to the landing page with these options

- Join a meeting - Greyed out, unable to click on it
- Sign up

- Sign in

I have signed in and it's the situation. Can someone please help out?     Bueller? Bueller?

for the past few months, I now have to switch the setting to on, as it defaults to off. 

I have a lot of technically challenged students who I have to talk through this process every time and they find it daunting. 

 

Why is this now the default setting? Is there a way of changing this.
