Version: 6.4.6 (53970)

I host a meeting weekly.

The meeting is established as a recurring meeting.

Each week, I send an e mail to potential participants to invite them to the meeting.

I copy the meeting link from the zoom software and paste this into the e mail.

For the past two weeks, I have started the meeting from the zoom software.

The participants click the e mail link and get a message that the host is currently in another meeting.

I do not get anyone join me in the meeting.

The workaround is that I close the meeting I have started from the zoom software and click the link from the sent e mail.

The meeting starts and everyone joins.

The meeting ID in the zoom software is the same as the meeting ID in the email. The e mail meeting invite is copied and pasted from the zoom software.

What am I doing wrong and what to I need to do to put it right?

When I connect an external monitor, the camera does NOT rotate in landscape mode (in the external monitor using DEX). I can turn the device and it might lock for a few moments, however when I interact with the app it reverts back to 90 degrees I've tried all the possible settings in the Galaxy Tab S8 and the Zoom meeting app (Version 6.4.11.30526), without success. It works great on Google Meet without issue. Can you help?

I have several meetings that use zoom to connect. This would not be a problem except that Zoom refuses to initialize my camera. No matter what I do, the camera stays off. In settings it accesses it fine but not in zoom, one post I read said to change the camera settings in Zoom to foundation, I have done this and still no results. Should I just break down and get a better web cam or is there a way to fix this one?

TIA

Jo

My strange problem is that when a Linux user tries to right-click on the host/co-host video/tile, they do not have an option for "chat" like the users of Windows or macOS.  It seems to be specific to the Zoom Pro account that I have, but when checking this out on another Zoom Pro account, the Linux user does have the option to chat when right-clicking.  So it must be in one of the settings on my Pro account.  But how could a setting permit this feature (right-click has "chat") for two operating systems (Windows and macOS) and not the third (Linux)?  I've gone through all the settings and can't see any that directly effect chat not being available in a right-click operation.  Anyone have a suggestion?   Thanks, John

Initially, when I attempted to open the Workplace app on my Windows PC, I found that I was signed out of my Zoom account.  Repeated attempts to sign back in only yielded the message: 'Please try again later.'  Error Code: -1.

The Zoom Workplace app on my PC has been installed and functioning properly since 2020.  This is the first time it has ever given me any issues.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Zoom app multiple times.

I have cleared my Windows Explorer cache multiple times as well

I have even gone so far as to reinstall Windows (Windows 11 Pro, version 24H2, OS build 26100.4351).

Using a browser, I can sign into my Zoom account on both my Windows PC and my Mac.  Additionally,  on my Mac, I can also sign in to the Zoom Workplace app.

An article online suggested linking my Windows 365 with Zoom.  I have tried this, but my 365 account is a Personal account, and the login page the Zoom link takes me to is for a Work or School account.  Using a browser, I logged into my 365 account and then attempted to connect (an online article said it would help), but I'm still asked to sign in with a Work or School account.

What should I try next?

Hello Community,

During the first week of June 2025 I conducted audio check-ins with several different groups of singers slated to sing in three-part harmony for a Zoom event held last Saturday.  We had good success with each group when they toggled  "Original Sound for Musicians" to the "on" setting on the device they used to join the Zoom.  We could hear all three parts and the sound quality was decent for Zoom!

Fast forward to Saturday June 21 - same groups, same devices, same use of "Original Sound for Musicians" and the quality was significantly degraded. When singing in unison the quality was okay, but when the singers went to three parts, we could rarely hear the parts.  All of us had made sure to install the lastest version of Zoom....  Was there something that changed?

I've upgraded my account from Pro to Workplace today as I need to host multiple meetings at the same time (lasting 60-90 minutes). It looks like I can only host a second meeting for 40 minutes, is this correct? thank so much for any info!
