I have my zoom work perfectly on my laptop. However, when I log into VMWare and start zoom on the virtual desktop (VD), my video is very pixelated and the virtual background is disabled. I've already tried to - 

  • Update Zoom on both my laptop and on VD to be the latest version
  • Log in to Zoom account on both laptop and VD
  • Double check the settings on the zoom account to enable virtual background
  • Restart laptop, VD, Zoom a couple times

But it still doesn't work for me. Any advice here?

Resolved! Missing Emoji option on Zoom Chat

When in zoom meeting my chat window does not have emoji option. Happens whether attendee or co-host. All other attendees have it.  This has been going on all week.  I have used multiple computers, multiple zoom accounts, and reinstalled zoom twice.

Meeting history

Hi All, 

I am unable to view my meeting history from 1st June to 14th July even after customising the dates. I can see the history of 15th July to 14th August. Could anyone please help me with the same.

Interpretation

As a participant in a call, when I use interpretation I listen to the original audio at the same volume as the interpreter. Normally the original audio is at the back and the interpreter is louder

Good afternoon, everybody !

 

I am a teacher and I have many online classes on ZOOM. I usually use the app on my computer, but recently I've bought a Samsung Galaxy S9 Ultra tablet to work when I am not a home. However, I am very disappointed with the functionalities of the ZOOM Android app. Is it normal that it is only a simplified version of the computer app ? I can't select one window to share, there's no chat window (it takes the whole screen and I can't see my students while writing a message...) among other limitations. Is there a way I can have the same functionalities and experience on the tablet as the one I have on the computer ? If the answer is no, I am afraid I'll have to leave ZOOM and use some other meeting app. I am really worried about this, many of my students have already complained. It is not normal to pay for a product and do not be able to use it as needed.

Cannot RSVP

I have been sent an email to my hotmail account but am unable to RSVP.  Others who have received the same email are able to RSVP but there is no option for me.

We recently reported an issue where someone came into a waiting room for an invite only meeting. When we declined their admittance Zoom pushed us to a reporting tool. The reporting tool then sent us an email with a link to confirm the report but the link doesn't work. Confirm the Report

When we click on the link we get an error message: "Looks like you can't access this page right now" (200). We've tried it across multiple days.

This was using a Windows 10 machine, in Chrome, Zoom One Pro account

Resolved! Restore a trimmed cloud recording

We are sorry to hear that you are having an issue restoring the recorded meeting after trimming it. We have a known problem with the no restore button after trimming the video. Our Engineers are working to resolve this. I have linked your account to this known issue, and once we have an update from our Engineer, I will let you know.

I trimmed the video recording by mistake. I am not able to restore to the full recording, but I can see the time of the full recording in the video icon. I do not see any option to restore to the original recording under the trimmed video. The original recording is 1 hour and 12 minutes. I trimmed it to 31 seconds by mistake and cannot find a way to restore the original recording even though it showing in the icon. See screenshot below. Thanks!

Mac SSO in newest build FAILs

I have an enterprise account and my employer. I'm on a Mac but the newest build of Zoom refuses to take me thru the SSO process to login. 

 

Previously at login, I clicked on the SSO button and it took me to the employers portal I signed in, and then the Outlook widget set Zoom mtgs on my calendar.

 

As of last week, the SSO button does nothing but login me in under my corporate email to a FREE ACCOUNT, with 40 min limit. This is a ZOOM BUG, please fix!

Modifying default invitation text

When I upgraded to Workplace Pro last September, I was able to modify the default invitation text. Now, I can't seem to find where to do that. Has this option been taken away?
