I have a new laptop and external camera running Windows 11.  I can turn the camera on and see video of myself, but in Zoom the screen is black. I have checked privacy settings. Camera is enabled and Zoom camera is enabled.  Meeting participants cannot see me.  The host can turn my camera on and off in the app, and I can click on share video, but it does not fix the problem.  As soon as I go to Zoom, my camera turns off.

For a zoom meeting (not webinar) we will have about 200 people participating. We'll use the immersive view and allow for Q&A. I would like to drop people into the immersive view when they ask their question and out after their question and bring in the next person. I will have folks raise their hand so they move up the participant list. However, does their order in the gallery move or will I have to scroll to look for them. I am able to pin from the participant window. You can't drop them in from the participant list.

Locked out for 30 minutes

I often need to switch login accounts. And often, the keycap lock is on, or my client changed his password and only tells me too late. I or they get locked out for 30 and need to wait to try again. There needs to be something better than locking out ... Show more

I often need to switch login accounts. And often, the keycap lock is on, or my client changed his password and only tells me too late.  I or they get locked out for 30 and need to wait to try again.  There needs to be something better than locking out the client for 30 minutes. 

If you forgot your password, you can't request an email during this lockout time.  Also not user friendly, especially if you are in a rush to start a meeting.   Maybe try a secret word if instead of a lockout.  Thanks.

Hi I set up automatic recording for a 90 min training session to 17 participants that I was hosting. I had tested the recording several times prior to the actual session and it worked perfectly. However when I held the actual session it did not record or if it did I cannot find it. When I checked the setup afterwards it was set to record to local computer and I have 151 gbs of space available. Is there anyway the video has been saved somewhere else or anyway  of recovering the video, or did it not record and if so why not. Thanks

I downloaded our recent webinar, the "shared screen with speaker view" clip, and put it into Imovie. For some reason the host's head is a little cut off in the Imovie version. I do not see this in the Zoom version -- her head is not cut off there. Anyone have experience with how to fix this? And/or insights on why this is happening? Thank you in advance!

Profile picture shows intermittently in Zoom meetings.

My profile picture which is the same as my Google picture as I use Chrome only shows up sometimes. I know there is a host button to turn this on and off but even when others have their picture or graphic showing when the Zoom camera icon is off, I still only have my default name appearing. Is there anyway to make sure the photo you want to represent you when the camera is off to always come on instead of just the letters of your name?

None of the participants are "showing up" in my meetings

Two similar but separate events happened and can't figure out why.  

 

The first instance, my colleague asked me to open up the meeting and allow the instructor to enter from the waiting room and give his host access.  Once I gave the instructor the host access, I could use just leave the meeting and let him run the class.  For whatever reason, as the class start time approached, no one was showing up. I had to email the instructor and he said that he was waiting to get let in.  Couldn't figure out what was happening but eventually he just created a zoom meeting using the free version (we're using the licensed product).  I was logging in from my personal laptop at home. 

 

The second instance, today, I just got my own account access from my employer ( university license also).  I opened up the meeting at my office computer and the same thing happened, no one was waiting to come in and again I called a colleague and he confirmed he was waiting for the meeting to start. 

 

Am I missing something?  I uploaded the Zoom app on to my laptop at home and desktop at work. Today, I just reinstalled the zoom app on the desktop.  Not sure what is going on!  Please help!  I can't be running these classes/meetings like this.

I cannot get any live help or customer support. This is not customer or user friendly> All I want to do is add additional users to my account and the system tells me they are don't have an account, however the person has an account and set up a meeting with me to prove it. I have a meeting in 6 hours and can't get help. This is ridiculous. Can someone HELP? The automated phone system is trash too! it just loops and then hangs up.
