Black Screen from GoPro

I'm looking for support on this: I normally teach using an audio interface (shows up as USB Audio CODEC). Since today, I cannot increase the input volume and thus no sound. I can move it to the right but it jumps right back. Yes I am unmuted and the interface is working fine (I see the lights signaling the music), it's just downregulated by Zoom. Installing the Zoom software updates and restarting Zoom and the macbook haven't changed anything. With all other microphones I can change the input volume and am audible. I ended up teaching with airpods and computer sound, but still would like to get the system back working...

Zoom for macOS can not allow microphone to work.

I am using mac mini m1, using sequoia 15.4.1. zoom 6.4.6. It always tell me to allow microphone access at privacy and security. It do not show "zoom would like to access xx". I use a head phone with microphone, and do not have camera on this mac mini... Show more

I am using mac mini m1, using sequoia 15.4.1. zoom 6.4.6. It always tell me to allow microphone access at privacy and security. It do not show "zoom would like to access xx". I use a head phone with microphone, and do not have camera on this mac mini. I think this may cause the issue.

 

p.s

I tried using zoom on macbook air m3, and still not work. I have to use tccplus to force adding them.

Resolved! Allow participants to join before host

On My settings, participants are allowed to join before the host, and also on our account management but all participants were not allowed unless I'm in. What am I missing here?Also, this has worked for me before and I haven't made any adjustments so... Show more

Oftentimes I have an hour long meeting that I'm recording in which I want to put in a bookmark saying "this is when we were discussing X". Then on playback I could jump straight to that moment.

Waiting Room notice shows incorrect details

Solved my problem,,, someone had set up a customised waiting room message and not told me!

No error codes.

Deleted, cleaned up after, and resinstalled OSX Zoom

Hi, I have a pro membership. I always share my computer sound (music), via 'share screen' --> advanced options --> share computer sound/ audio. I haven't used zoom for one month. Now this option to share computer sound is no longer available. I have no idea why this has changed.
I have removed and then re-installed the app 'zoom workplace'. I have a MacAir, Apple M1, MacOS Seqoia 14.5.1.

I hope you can tell me how to fix this. thank you so much!

Resolved! Zoom Virtual Backgrounds Causing BSOD on Windows

Our organization has several new laptops (Lenovo P1 Gen 5) with the AMD Radeon™ 780M graphics chip that are running into a BSOD when using virtual backgrounds in Zoom Workplace. This is across multiple users and computers, and all available drivers have been updated to their latest versions on all devices with no change in behavior. Our current version of Windows is 23H2, but we are upgrading soon to 24H2.

 

Steps to reproduce (so far):

  • Connect device to a docking station of some kind. If not docked, issue does not occur.
  • Connect external camera to device.
    • Does not matter if through docking station or a USB port on the laptop.
    • Occurs across multiple models of external cameras.
    • Issue does not occur with integrated camera.
  • Open Zoom Workplace version 6.4.3 (latest version)
  • Open settings or a new meeting with the external camera enabled
    • External camera must be selected as active camera
    • Issue still occurs with hardware acceleration disabled/difference video rendering methods.
  • Attempt to change/use virtual background.
    • Issue still occurs if a virtual background was already selected for use before zoom is opened.
  • Zoom will freeze completely, then eventually the computer will BSOD with the error code VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR
    • This is the error every time, it does not change
    • Even if Zoom is force quite immediately after the freeze through task manager, the BSOD will still happen.

After hours of troubleshooting we have not found a fix. This is largely disruptive to us, as some of our users train others on how to use Zoom and currently cannot show them how to use virtual backgrounds because the software is causing their computer to crash.

 

Microsoft Teams does not have this issue.
