On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Hello - I have set up a reoccurring meeting and added two of my co-workers as Alternative Hosts - so that any of us can start the meetings.  Works great - however I am the only one who can access the Usage Reports to capture the list of participants of past meetings.  Is there a way to allow the Alternative Hosts access to the meetings Usage Reports?

Recordings that have a password

We have several meetings that we recorded. We are sharing with those who couldn't attend; however, they keep saying it is asking for a password. We didn't require a password to join and are unsure where to find a password.

Please help me. How do I enable screen sharing for my guest? I create a zoom meeting and my guest says he cannot share his screen because the host has turned off screen sharing, how do i turn it back  on?

Resolved! Cannot find the result of cloud recording

Hi,

I recorded about 3 hours-long meeting using cloud recording. After over 48 hours later I still cannot find the result. Meanwhile the recording for yesterday's meeting is already available. Kindly advise.

zoom recordings and conversions

I wonder why the last of files shown above (viz. ZOOM MP4) no longer appears after the zoom recording has been converted? I, as a result, can no longer update my zoom recording to Youtube. I usually click on this file when uploading to Youtube.

I have Zoom Pro.  Attendees trying to join my meeting by phone get the audio message that this meeting does not support dial-in.  I know this is now a restriction of free Zoom, but I thought Pro would support this.  (It used to work fine with the free version)

We keep regularly getting emails from Zoom saying we are using 37 GB worth of cloud recordings, and that our account only has 2 GB of cloud storage. However, whenever I check our Zoom archive of cloud recordings, there's usually only 1 or 2 recent recordings, that certainly total less than 2GB total. Our trash is totally empty too... so where are the 37 gigs coming from? Any ideas?

 

We have a number of local recordings stored on a few different laptops, but this shouldn't contribute to our cloud storage total, right??

 

If anyone has any ideas or any similar situations/findings you can share, I'd sincerely appreciate it! Thank you!
