Hi, Since the beginning of the year, when people join my personal room, I don't see them in the waiting room. Instead, I receive an e-mail saying they have joined, I need to close the meeting and open it again from the link on the e-mail. I have the latest zoom version and I have already tried what has been suggested in other posts, but the problem persists. How can I solve this? Thanks!

Over the past month or so, my mouse / cursor cannot be controlled while Zoom and Outlook are open, the cursor randomly moves across the screen? I have other video conferencing apps and this only happens with Zoom. I've tried unplugging my mouse and this didn't help, so it doesn't appear to be the mouse itself (Logitech G Pro). If I close Outlook everything is ok...so it seems like it's the interface with Outlook that's causing the problem. (I'm using Windows / Office 365 Enterprise for business and of course it's up to date.) My PC is a high end ASUS TUF gaming notebook, with Windows 11, all drivers are to date, as is my Zoom. Any insight with how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

The only instructions I see to enable dual monitor mode is to go to my profile, click on settings/general. Then check to box to enable dual monitor mode. For the life of me, I can not find that option to check. I have Zoom meetings with an office colleague and we share screens all the time. When she shares her screen, out videos are shown at the top of the screen she is sharing - instead of on my second monitor. I want to see our videos on one monitor and the shared screen on the other.

I have a Macbook Air M1 (8-core). When I join a zoom meeting (version 6.3.5) and try to select "live performance audio" like the rest of my group, I do not find that option in audio settings where it should be below "original sound for musicians." Why?

I have found several posts from so many users that are looking for the same thing as me. The 'Check for Updates' option. It used to be under the profile section. But it has been removed. I don't mean to be rude, but it shouldn't matter whether I checked the box to auto-update or not. The fact is, it can be problematic to connect to a meeting only to discover that it needs to update at that time! You then have to wait for the update to finish and may even have to restart taking more time before you can connect to the meeting! The option to check for an update should be available at ALL TIMES. For security purposes if nothing else. But also to help with avoiding that last minute update before a meeting starts. That way I can check beforehand and update if necessary. Please consider these words and this request. This will be of help to all customers whether they are paying ones or not. Please know this is not in anger, but there is some frustration and concern on how this operates now. As a previous IT administrator things such as security updates were a top concern. Not being able to verify if something was up-to-date was crucial! We would terminate contracts with companies that couldn't tell us or give us proper methods to verify updates and version of software. Thank you for your time, I hope this is considered and taken seriously.

Hi there, My zoom app is not detecting microphones - this includes my built-in laptop microphone, and also my headphone microphone when I test with my microphones. I'm using Windows 11. My microphone works perfectly in my Sound Settings, and on Teams calls. Error message on Zoom "Failed to detect your microphone. Please make sure your microphone is properly connected."
I have tried so many steps online - including:
- rebooting the PC
- re-installing the Zoom app (now have the Zoom Workplace app version 6.1.11 (45504) installed)
- checking for driver updates on device manager
- checking for Windows updates (including optional updates)
- playing with the Audio settings in Zoom - including the Advanced Audio settings
- in Privacy Settings, ensuring the Zoom app has access to the Microphone
- going to the Microphone settings and unchecking 'Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device'
- run the Sound troubleshooter - didn't find any issues
- tried plugging in a headset - still says it cannot detect the microphone. The strange thing is when I click on the little up-arrow next to Audio to see the 'Select a Microphone' options - both the built-in laptop microphone and headset microphone are there as options - but when i select either, the same error appears
This is driving me crazy!

Hello, I have newly started to use zoom meetings, The problem I am facing is, if i set my headset microphone to use during video calls zoom crashes. If instead of Headset Microphone, I use laptop default microphone, it works normally and everything works fine. In dire need of a solution.
If Headset Microphone is set I can not create new meeting, join a meeting or open Settings > Audio. I can go to every other settings page except Audio page. If I open a new meeting or join a meeting or open Settings > Audio page then a window appears and closes within a few seconds.
If the laptops default microphone is set, then everything works normally.
Now I have tested other media like Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger and google meet for both audio and video calling and there my headset microphone is working perfectly too.

In the last couple of days I've been presented to on Zoom, and twice the screen being shared has got stuck / frozen from my perspective - the presenter sees their slide progress or moving back to a Powerpoint slide from a video, but what I see stays the same. Me leaving and rejoining doesn't fix, but the presenter ending and restarting the screen share does fix Their video of them, and audio, continues fine so its not a total system freeze, weirdly I can even see their Mouse moving on what they think the new screen is! So might be a powerpoint specific issue? Zoom version incompatibility? New bug? Never saw this before and have been a heavy user for several years.
