Thank you to Storyhub for your support. I spent three days intensively troubleshooting a critical Zoom issue where my clients couldn’t enter the waiting room, and I received no notifications in the app. After trying all the recommended settings, the root cause turned out to be something I would have never suspected: Zoom had silently unchecked the "Use my personal meeting ID (PMI)" setting in the desktop app's "New Meeting" configuration. This caused Zoom to start using a different Meeting ID instead of my real PMI , even though my account still showed the correct PMI on the web. As a result, my clients were joining a non-existent or mismatched meeting space—and I couldn’t see them or get notified. The issue was not caused by anything I manually changed, and there was no notification from Zoom that this setting had been altered. Once I re-checked “Use my personal meeting ID (PMI),” everything went back to normal: clients could enter the waiting room again, and I could admit them via the app. This subtle but damaging setting change cost me several days and disrupted multiple client sessions. I’m sharing this here in case it helps someone else avoid the same frustration.

I have spent many hours over the past two days trying to resolve a serious issue with the Zoom Waiting Room function. Despite following every single step provided by Zoom Support (including enabling the Waiting Room at the account level, locking the setting, reinstalling the app, clearing the Zoom folder, etc.), the issue not only remains but has gotten worse. Now, even when a client joins the meeting, I no longer receive any notification via Zoom or email. I’ve tested this repeatedly using different devices, including my iPhone. No matter whether I join first or let the client join first, there is no sign that someone is waiting to be admitted. The Zoom app window doesn’t show any participants waiting, and I get no email alert. This has made it impossible for me to admit clients to meetings, and I risk losing them because of this. I’ve invested in Zoom for years to support my psychotherapy practice, but this issue is seriously impacting my work. Is there anyone who has encountered the same issue? I would deeply appreciate insight or a solution from the Zoom Community. I’m starting to consider if I need to move to another platform.

If I start a Meeting from the iMac and share a document all other members can see my annotations and add their own and the record of these edits remains. If I host a Meeting from my iPad or iPhone and share a document I can annotate from that device and the marks remain. I can annotate from either of the other devices and the edits remain on the host's document but disappear after 5 seconds on the screen of the device making the annotation. Collaboration is impossible. I've checked Meeting settings on the Web portal and annotations are enabled for everyone.
I'd really appreciate some fast help on this. I fly to Britain tomorrow. My wife will have the iMac in Japan. We plan to hold ZOOM classes for students and sorting this out would make sharing the work much easier.

I underatand how mirroring the front facing camera for selfie mode so it looks more like what you would aee in the mirror. But when i change the camera to the main camera on the back of the phone. It stays mirrored. This is not a natural or even desired. Why is the mirroring also applied to the main camera??? It makes no sense. I feel that this is a valid BUG in the code of zoom app. The mirror ahould not applt to both cameras, only the front facing. If the main camera also needs to invert, then there should be a separate setting that is not defaulted to mirror.

Hello, I've been using Zoom for a couple of years now conducting meetings with up to a few hundred participants. The presentation always includes the sharing of a video. I have always used the Share Sound and Optimize for video settings. A few days ago, while doing the AV check in preparation for the meeting, I was unable to share the video. The participants were able to hear the sound but unable to view the video. In an attempt to resolve this issue, I have replicated the issue with a small meeting between two of my own computers, one desktop (with a hardwired ethernet connection) and an iPad (connected with WIFI). I have also replicated the issue with two computers both of which were connected with WIFI (i.e., no hardwired connection). The issue began with upgrade 6.4.2 and persists with 6.4.3. I can workaround this issue by disabling the "optimize for video sharing" feature. Any thoughts on how I may resolve this?

Hi everyone. When I start my videos my virtual background is on a blue background despite every thing being on none /off. No avatars are on etc, no green screen on. I am able to shift through other virtual backgrounds. But I cant get it to have nothing on there yet. Can someone please help me make it so I do not have a background on my screen. I am not certain if I hit something in the past, but I am uncertain how to take it off now. Please help.

Several times recently I joined Zoom meetings where the person shared some short meditative songs. I could not hear the music, although I saw the images on the screen. Everyone else on the Zoom could hear it just fine. And then the other day, I was hosting a Zoom and one of the attendees couldn't hear the song I screen shared. She had been on my Zoom calls dozens of times and we've never had this happen before. Is there a setting I need to adjust or an update I'm missing? Help!

So let me tell you the devices I am using. Android Device - Samsung S10 iPhone 11 So I bought this mic and is working as it should. When I connect it to my android and use default camera app, it starts recording audio through USB Audio and works as it should. Same goes with my iPhone.
External Microphone - Wireless K8
Now the problem is in Zoom Meeting Android as it is not picking up audio from the external mic while Zoom Meeting on iPhone picks up audio from the external mic as it should.
Can Anyone help me with this issue? Is there a setting, or anything like?

My audio is working fine but the video is not. I get to see a pink screen when I turn on the video. In a meeting, I could not see the video of other participants (whose videos are turned on). I also see the screen shared by other participants as pink. I tried different (Bloomberg built) video conferencing platform, it worked fine, where I am able to see my video and also the participants. Zoom Version: 5.16.10 (25689) Macbook Pro 16-inch, 2023 Apple M2 Pro OS: Sonoma 14.3
