Hello all.  I've only used Zoom's basic (free) functions but am looking for advice about which plan I may need to upgrade to so that I can accomplish a specific goal.  I am a student doing research requiring interviews of individuals (essentially two party calls/meetings) that I need to record to the cloud and have transcribed.  It seems Zoom might have such capabilities, but I'm not sure how to choose/construct the correct plan.  I think I will at least need Pro, but am not confident I can add on the needed features.  Meanwhile, a Business plan seems like overkill, and I only need one license (not a minimum of 10).  Any ideas or advice?  Thanks!

Hello everybody! Need some help with my Zoom video converting. Today I recorded a meeting on my computer (locally), 2 files with the extension *.zoom were formed. One takes up 1.2 GB, the second - 8 MB. Usually I double-click on one of these files and everything is converted to mp4. But in this case, nothing happens. I tried to transfer everything to another computer and try to convert the video there - no changes. What should I do? Thanks for support.

Resolved! Accidental meeting recording

I have a meeting scheduled for this Saturday with auto recording to the cloud. While setting up the invitation for people, I clicked the link and accidentally started the meeting. I ended it, and now I have an 11-second recording of that mistake. Wha... Show more

I have a meeting scheduled for this Saturday with auto recording to the cloud. While setting up the invitation for people, I clicked the link and accidentally started the meeting. I ended it, and now I have an 11-second recording of that mistake. What will happen on Saturday when I start the meeting for real? Will there be a new recording? Or will Zoom think I already recorded the meeting?

 

This is really important because I need to have the actual meeting recording after the event.

We recently had a webinar with 1,700 attendees that had lots of reactions. I ran the Reaction Report and saw that there were many instances of the same reaction emoji being repeated over and over by the same person just seconds apart. For example the report shows the same person clicking the laughing emoji almost 50 times in 15 seconds. I tested this out myself and it's not even possible to press the button that fast. Is it possible that the system is just double counting a single click? Anyone else seen behavior like this? I want to report to my leadership how many reactions we got but I don't trust this data with all the repeats.

Unfortunately, the link to register now brings up a registration form which already has the name and email of previous person who registered! Not sure shat caused this but how can I fix this? I even tried creating a new meeting with a new registration link but it still happened!

I have been leading a consistent Zoom meeting every morning. Done it for 5 years now. I'm wanting to know if all the people who have ever come to the meeting after they register their email is there a setting that Zoom has all we can send them an email on a regular basis. Like the automated system does for webinars. I get emails for webinars on the consistent basis. And I'm wondering if we can send out the same kind of consistent notifications to remember this meeting that we do everyday. Any help is appreciated

Disable Raised Hand pop up in a Zoom meeting

How do I disable this pop up when someone raises their hand? The participants who've raised their hands get moved to the top of the gallery as it is. This pop up seems unhelpful and besides that the host has to keep closing the pop up each time someone raises their hand.

In the participants panel we get two more notifications for a raised hand:

I’m currently using the Zoom Basic plan to create instant meetings through API requests and display them on my website using the component view. I noticed that with both the Basic and Pro plans, I can’t host multiple meetings at the same time. If I purchase the Video SDK Pay As You Go plan, will I be able to host multiple meetings simultaneously?
